This afternoon Lavie Pregnancy Center hosted a lunch and learn about how they help love, serve, and share the gospel with women who find themselves in the midst of a crisis pregnancy.

We believe babies are a blessing and gift from the Lord and want to help protect and preserve both the mother and babies from the terrible evil of abortion.

Did you know 80% of moms when they hear their baby’s heart beat will chose life?

Worship with us this Sunday at 11:00!

This afternoon we walked around town and sought to pray with different people. We talked with individuals as they were outside, knocked on doors, and through ring door bells. Where there are people, there is opportunity to fulfill the Great Commission.

As we recapped our time, some things that stuck out were:
1) Success is being faithful. No matter what the response is, if we are faithful we will have a 100% success rate.
2) Many are struggling and a moment of love and caring can often open the door for even greater conversation.
3) The Lord will place people that you will be able to encourage and be encouraged by.
4) People are willing to hear about Jesus, especially if they know you care.
5) Living on mission is encouraging for us!

We would like to invite you for an opportunity to learn about resources for Crisis Pregnancies. Pam Trotter, of Lavie Pregnancy Care Center, will be hosting a Lunch and Learn in the Family Life Center of Faith Baptist Church on May 19 from 12:00 to 1:15. We believe this will be valuable for anyone working with people who might find themselves in a similar situation. We hope that you will join us (and even bring a friend!) for this time.
