Yesterday, I had an interesting phone conversation with a pastor in North Dakota. Even though we have had several contacts in the past few months, he was just now starting to think about this year’s Fall Campaign.

He wanted to know if there was still time to get on board in using our Fall Campaign. I assured him that it is not too late.

We are prepared to accept and process Fall Campaign Questionnaires right up through mid-October for a November Fall Campaign.

What I said to this pastor applies to you and your church. It’s not too late. Simply visit our web site. Click on “Fall Campaign.” Read the informational letter describing the Fall Campaign. Then complete the Fall Campaign Questionnaire and send it to us by fax or e-mail. (Due to problems with mail delivery, we do not recommend sending it by first-class mail.)

Time is really of the essence. The sooner you return the Questionnaire, the sooner we can get the Fall Campaign materials to you.

You don’t need to send any money now. We’ll be glad to send an invoice or to charge a credit card when we send the materials.

Questions? Please contact us by phone or e-mail.

Special blessings as you consider how using our Fall Campaign can benefit your church and your ministry.

Our main service to churches is the year-round “Effective Stewardship” program which seeks to train people to be better managers of the resources God has entrusted to them. It usually leads to an increase in overall financial support in the local church because God is faithful to honor the Scriptures on which the program is based (Isaiah 55:10-11).

We also offer Fall Campaigns on a stand-alone basis or at a reduced cost in conjunction with the year-round program. Our four-week Fall Campaign encourages people to make a financial commitment for the coming year.

Recently, a friend told me that Fall Campaigns are a thing of the past and are no longer relevant. I’m not sure where he got that information, but it’s not accurate.

Based on our experience in serving over 5,000 churches in all 50 states and every province of Canada, churches that use Fall Campaigns receive more funds per person and experience more consistent giving than those that do not. It’s that simple.

The theme of this year’s Fall Campaign is “Working Together — Celebrating God’s Good Gifts.” Based on 1 Corinthians 3:9, the campaign considers how we are recipients of God’s good gifts.

The campaign examines how we can use those gifts for God’s glory and to minister to other people in the ministry of our church through our time, talents and treasure.

The Campaign emphasizes why we should give to the Lord’s work in our church and elsewhere, how we should give, and how much we should give.

Most importantly, the Campaign stresses developing an attitude of godly generosity that will pervade every area of our lives as we choose to have a generous spirit which reflects God’s generosity to us.

It’s time to consider using “Working Together — Celebrating God’s Good Gifts” this year!

We provide two main programs to churches: “Effective Stewardship: Building on Biblical Principles” and “Time and Talents.” Both of these are year-round in design and provide monthly materials to churches.

Our main service to churches is the year-round “Effective Stewardship” program which seeks to train people to be better managers of the resources God has entrusted to them. The theme of this year’s Fall Campaign is “Investing for Time and Eternity.” Based on Matthew 6:20-21, the campaign emphasizes how we are to lay up treasure in heaven. What does this mean? As Randy Alcorn observed, “It means that Christ offers us the incredible opportunity to trade earthlly goods and currency for eternal kingdom rewards.”

It’s definitely not too late to use “Investing for Time and Eternity” this year!

Fall Campaigns are a special emphasis in which a church seeks commitments from its people for financial support in the coming year.

There are those who contend Fall Campaigns are relics from the past and are no longer relevant. I respectfully disagree. Based on my experience in serving over 5,000 churches, two things are true of churches which use Fall Campaigns when compared with those that do not: Their congregations give more consistently, and they give more per person.

That’s why KLW Enterprises continues to offer, emphasize and encourage the use of Fall Campaigns. Please visit

for more information on this year’s Fall Campaign, “Investing for Time and Eternity.”

There is no deadline for responding. We are prepared to accept and process Fall Campaign Questionnaires right up through mid-October for a November Fall Campaign. However, the sooner you respond, the lower the cost.

Time is running out!

The year-round “Effective Stewardship” program and the “Time and Talents” program can start any month of the year. However, by its very nature, the Fall Campaign has a time limit.

We are prepared to accept and process Fall Campaign Questionnaires right up through mid-October for a November Fall Campaign, but the window of opportunity is starting to close. Time is literally running out.

Please visit our website: www.klwenteprises.com.

Click on Fall Campaign for the Information Letter, a sample Lay Speaker Presentation, and a Questionnaire. Complete and return the Questionnaire to us as soon as practical by e-mail, fax or surface mail. It’s not necessary to send any payment with the Questionnaire. We will be glad to send a bill with the materials or to charge a credit card at that time.

Please remember this simple fact: Churches which use Fall Campaigns have more consistent giving and receive more financial support per person than those that do not.

Here’s a simple premise: Churches that use annual Fall Campaigns receive more financial support per person and more consistent giving than those that do not.

Here’s another simple premise: Churches that use the year-round “Effective Stewardship” program build a firm foundation as their people are trained in biblical principles concerning money, material possessions and giving, especially in the fact that God owns it all.

Here’s one more simple premise: Churches that use both the year-round program and a Fall Campaign have the best of both worlds. Their congregations receive low-key training in biblical principles which they then put into action through their commitments as part of a Fall Campaign.

Please visit our website for FREE samples. There’s no cost or obligation. For more information, please contact us by phone (800 805 8702) or e-mail: [email protected].

The sooner you respond, the sooner you can start on the road to financial recovery from the pandemic and your church not being able to meet in person for several months.

As we close out 2020 and enter into 2021, what Charles Stanley said in his review of his 30 Life Principles is fitting:

“When you confront a situation that doesn’t line up with your understanding of what God has said to you, stop and look to Him for direction. Sometimes He allows disappointments to occur so that we learn to rely on Him more completely — walking by faith rather than sight.

“The challenges that come don’t have to steal your confidence in Him. You can choose to look to the Lord, listen, learn and move ahead. As you do, the wounded places in your heart and the scars of old disappointments will melt away in His restoring love.

“God does have blessings for you more than you can imagine. Let go of your disappointments and your fear. Your heavenly Father holds your future in His hands, and you never have to be afraid of looking forward to what He has in store.”

As you conclude 2020 and enter into 2021, may you be blessed and encouraged by God’s over-arching care and concern for you. Regardless of what comes in the New Year, my hope and prayer is that 2021 will be your best year yet in Christ.

Thoughts on Thanksgiving from Psalm 100

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!

Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.

Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

As a young boy, I remember my mother listening to “The Breakfast Club.” Don McNeill was a master host as he held court each day over the ABC radio network from his studio in Chicago. McNeill organized the hour show into segments which he called “the four calls to breakfast.” As he neared the close of each broadcast, he would issue his well-known declaration, “Last call for breakfast.”

This is the last call, not for breakfast or even “The Breakfast Club.” It is the last call for this year’s Fall Campaign, “Empowered by God — Responding by Grace.”

Is a Fall Campaign really appropriate in view of the COVID-19 pandemic? Will people respond, especially since many churches throughout the nation have been closed or severely restricted in their activities?

Only you can determine what is best for your church, but I would encourage you to think about having a Fall Campaign this year. As all of us work to return to “normal” (however you define that term), a Fall Campaign can be a stabilizing factor in the life and ministry of your church. As you consider the possibility of using a Fall Campaign this year, please keep this in mind: Churches which utilize Fall Campaigns receive more consistent financial support and more support per person than those that do not.

Bottom line: It’s not too late to use our Fall Campaign in 2020. Please visit our website, www.klwenterprises.com and click on “Fall Campaign for further information and for the Fall Campaign Questionnaire. Then complete the Questionnaire and return it to us by fax, e-mail or surface mail. The cost can be billed or paid by credit card. It is not necessary to send payment now.

One more thing: Due to the pandemic, we have waived all late fees this year. The price you pay will be the price that was in effect for Questionnaires returned prior to July 1.

As Don McNeill might say it, “Last call for this year’s Fall Campaign.”
