Our faith is meant to be built, but not on wishes, assumptions, or the outcomes we hope God will give us. We’re going back to Scripture to discover what God has actually promised and why His Word is sturdy enough to build our lives on.

This Sunday, we have the privilege of welcoming the Beebe family, missionaries to Malta.

Long ago the apostle Paul arrived on the shores of Malta and God did remarkable things. We believe God is still working there today.

Come expecting to hear what God is doing, to have your faith strengthened, and to be reminded that the same gospel is still reaching people around the world.

IT’S NOT ALWAYS THE BIG BAD WOLF

When we think about danger to sheep, we immediately think about the wolf.

But the wolf isn’t the only danger.

Some dangers come against us.
Some develop within us.
Some grow through isolation.
Others come from wounds we never dealt with.

This Tuesday in Roots in Action, we close our series Why Sheep… and Not a Lion? with a practical lesson about recognizing the dangers that threaten our walk with God.

Because it’s not always the big bad wolf.

Why does belonging to a flock matter?

Because attending a church and belonging to a church are not the same thing.

We’ll talk about the danger of isolation, the difference between consuming church and belonging to one, and why healthy sheep were never meant to walk alone.
