The ladies floated peacefully, enjoying the sunshine.

Meanwhile, the men took up the important responsibility of keeping a close eye on the situation.

We’re still not entirely sure if they were watching for sharks… or debating whether this was the perfect opportunity to gently untie the float and let nature take its course.

After much deliberation, the board voted NOT to test the local shark population.

Around here, you don’t need a calendar to know it’s early August. Right on cue Jackson and Dan walk in with guitars in hand, somehow making the doorframe seem suspiciously small.

No set list, no real plan…just two guys who turn a quiet evening into the one everyone remembers.

It’s become one of our favorite traditions. Same time next August, fellas—though we’d happily take you sooner.

Some boats are beautiful tied to a dock. Others aren’t truly appreciated until the sails fill and the wind takes over. Hesper is definitely the latter.

Stretching her legs during yesterday’s Eggemoggin Reach Wooden Boat Regatta, she looked perfectly at home carving through Penobscot Bay.
