Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay.

It doesn’t mean you pretend it never happened.
It doesn’t mean they get access to your heart again.
It doesn’t mean you hand them the keys to your life.

Forgiveness means you stop spending your life trying to collect from someone what only Jesus can give back to you.
Because unforgiveness lets the person who hurt you keep living rent-free in your heart.

But every time you forgive, you take space back.
And that space becomes room for God to heal, restore, and do something beautiful again.
What have you been carrying that God is asking you to release?

The world says, "Speak it into existence."
Jesus says, "Surrender it to Me." 🤍
We weren't created to be our own source. We were created to depend on the Holy Spirit and follow His leading.
That's why words matter so much. The voices we listen to—and the words spoken over us—have the power to shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.
But here's the truth:
People can affirm your worth, but they cannot give you your worth. ✨
Your value doesn't come from someone's approval, praise, or opinion. It comes from the One who created you.
Don't let negative words become louder than God's voice. Let His truth define you, His presence guide you, and His love remind you who you are. 🙌

You matter. 🤍

Sometimes it's easy to believe that what we do doesn't make a difference, that someone else could fill our place, or that our role isn't important. But that's simply not true.

As Pastor Tina reminded us:

"Do not underestimate the power of your role in the body of Christ. You matter and we need each other."

Every gift matters.
Every act of service matters.
Every prayer matters.
Every person matters.

The Church was never meant to be built by one person—it flourishes when each of us embraces the unique role God has given us.

You are needed.
You are valuable.
And you have a purpose in the body of Christ. ✨

Words have power. 💬❤️

Some of us are still carrying words that were spoken years ago—words that shaped how we see ourselves, our worth, and our future.

But healing is possible.

This week, we learned that healing the wounds of words begins when we:

✨ Replace lies with God's truth.
✨ Forgive those who spoke the words.
✨ Tune our ears to the Father's voice.

The enemy wants you to replay what hurt you. Jesus wants you to remember what He says about you.

Healing happens when God's truth becomes louder than the lie, forgiveness becomes greater than bitterness, and the Father's voice becomes louder than your wounds. 🤍

The enemy rarely shows up with something new—he simply keeps replaying old wounds. 💔
Maybe someone told you that you weren't enough.
Maybe they made you feel unwanted, unworthy, or unseen.
And without realizing it, those words took a seat at the table of your heart.
Now every decision, every relationship, and every challenge gets filtered through the pain of what was spoken over you.
But here's the truth: the most accurate word about you is not the one spoken by your wounds—it's the one spoken by your Creator. ✨
You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are valued.
You are His.
Don't let yesterday's wounds have more authority than God's truth. 🤍

Our words carry more weight than we realize. 💬

A careless comment can linger for years. A harsh word can leave a wound that takes time to heal. That's why Scripture reminds us to speak in ways that build others up, not tear them down.

Before we speak, let's ask ourselves:

✨ Will these words bring life?
✨ Will they encourage?
✨ Will they help someone grow?

"Don't let things come out of our mouth that's going to cause decay in someone's soul."

May our words reflect the heart of Jesus—bringing hope, healing, and life to everyone who hears them. 🤍

Words have a way of staying with us. 💬

You can receive 10 compliments today and one criticism... and somehow it's the criticism that replays in your mind all day long.

One of the greatest lies many of us learned growing up is that wounds from words don't matter. But the truth is, hurtful words can follow us for years, shaping how we see ourselves and others.

The good news? They don't have to define your future. ❤️‍🩹

What wounded you can be healed. What was spoken over you can be replaced with God's truth. And the words that once hurt you don't have to have the final say.

Healing is possible. 🤍
