Why? Because they're human.

Not because they're bad.
Not because they don't care.
But because no person can carry the weight of being everything you need.

But only Jesus can be the unshakable foundation your soul is looking for.
People will fail you.
Jesus never will. 🙌

God doesn’t just want to heal what happened to you…

He wants to heal the version of you that had to survive it. 🤍

The younger you.
The wounded you.
The disappointed you.
The you that decided, “I’ll never let anyone in again.”

Jesus wants to meet you there.

Not to shame you.
Not to rush you.
Not to tell you to “just get over it.”

But to sit with you and say:

“You don’t have to do this by yourself anymore. I’ve got you now.”

A shut down heart isn’t a “bad” heart… it’s a guarded one. 🧱

You don’t actually want to live behind the wall.

You just don’t know if it’s safe to come out.

But here’s the good news: Jesus isn’t asking you to tear the whole wall down overnight. He’s not demanding every brick by Friday.

He’s asking for one.

One place of trust.
One honest prayer.
One step toward healing.
One brick surrendered to Him.

God didn’t design you to hide your gifts, silence your voice, or shrink back from the life He’s called you to live.

Fear may try to close you off.
Pain may try to keep you guarded.
But purpose still calls you forward. 🕊️

Heaven doesn’t condemn you… Heaven calls you higher. 🕊️

God is not waiting for you to “get it together” before He meets you.

He meets you in the pain.
He meets you in the questions.
He meets you in the uncertainty.
He meets you when you’re wondering, “Is this safe?”

That’s the love of Jesus.

He doesn’t motivate through fear.
He doesn’t push you down.
He calls you up.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice gave us freedoms we should never take for granted, and we pause today with gratitude and remembrance for those who paid the ultimate price.

As we spend time with family and loved ones today, may we also reflect on the courage, selflessness, and legacy of those we remember this Memorial Day.
