On Sunday, our kids stepped into the story of Holy Week in a hands-on and meaningful way. We began by processing into worship waving palm branches, just like the crowds who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem shouting “Hosanna!”

In Sunday School, we explored what it means that Jesus is a different kind of King - one who comes with humility, love, and peace. They also spent time talking about prayer, learning that just like Jesus, we can talk to God honestly and trust Him even when things feel hard or confusing. Each child placed their own prayer on palm leaves as a reminder that God hears and cares.

Afterward, we celebrated together at our Palm Sunday Festival with so much joy: face painting, the Easter Bunny, balloon animals, a photo station, The Varsity food truck, and of course… an egg hunt!

It was a day full of celebration, connection, and reminders of God’s love for us.

This week, we were invited to feel how Jesus cared deeply for Lazarus and his family by bringing him back to life. Most parties wouldn’t happen without asking for the help you need—whether it’s setting up, cooking, or organizing. We learned how Jesus helped Lazarus and his family when they needed him, showing how deeply he cared for them. Even when the answer didn’t come right away, Jesus revealed his power and love, reminding us that "I’m invited to ask Jesus for help!"

Our Kids Ministry is full of faith, growth, and some pretty amazing “wow” moments.

We’ve been learning what it means to follow Jesus right now, trust in His power, and remember that everyone is invited into God’s family. Through it all, our kids have been asking big questions, building friendships, and growing in their understanding of God’s love.

We’re so thankful for each child, each family, and each volunteer who makes this ministry so special. We can’t wait to keep growing together!

Every Sunday we started our morning together lignting our Advent candle and making a special Advent craft. So far, we’ve created a hope lantern, a dove ornament, and a JOY canvas. We have one more special craft this Sunday and they get to take them all home.

Scenes from Sunday at Level Creek Kids!

We spent time together making dove ornaments Then in our Sunday School classes, we continued to follow that star with the angel Gabriel. This week, we followed Gabriel to Nazareth to visit a young woman named Mary. The angel told Mary that God saw something special in her heart and had invited her to be part of God's plans for the world. That big plan was sending God's son, Jesus, to Earth as Mary's own baby!

Mary was not without her own doubts. But she did know God had been faithful to her and would stay by her side no matter what journey she was on, no matter which way the map was turned, and no matter what other people said. After Gabriel reassured her she would be okay and wouldn't be doing this alone, Mary had something to look forward to - that's called hope.

Our lives are kind of like a road trip - we have plenty of places to explore and will make pit stops along the way. What's important is God gives us hope when we're feeling overwhelmed or worried about what's next.

During the season of Advent, our Sunday School classes will begin each week gathered together to light the Advent candle for that Sunday. We’ll pause for a short reflection on its meaning and then move into a simple, hands-on craft that helps bring the theme to life.

This Advent, our theme is “Follow That Star.” Just as many families travel during the Christmas season, visiting loved ones, taking a break, or following familiar traditions, the very first Christmas began with a journey guided by a bright star pointing the way to Jesus.

Throughout this four-week series, we will explore how God still guides us today. Each week we’ll discover:

God gives people to guide us
God gives hope to guide us
God gives a Savior to guide us
God gives direction to guide us

We look forward to sharing this meaningful season with your children and helping them experience the wonder, hope, and guiding light of Advent.

Scenes from Sunday at Level Creek Kids!

This week we met Esther—an ordinary girl who became a queen with a mission! In Esther 2:1–18, we learned that even though Esther didn’t come from a fancy family or have any special powers, God had a big plan for her life. Behind the scenes, God was getting everything ready so Esther could help save God’s people!

It’s a great reminder that God gives each of us a mission, too. You don’t have to be royal or famous, just willing to say “yes” when God nudges you!

Scenes from Sunday at Level Creek Kids!

This Sunday in Sunday School, we learned about Daniel and the lion’s den, a story full of courage and faith! Even when Daniel faced a den of lions, he trusted God completely. His bravery showed everyone around him that God is powerful and always with us. When we have courage to do what’s right, others can see God’s love shining through us, too!

Scenes from the weekend at Level Creek Kids!

Friday night our Club 345 worked together to solve the mystery of the missing All Hallows Key. We had a great time problem solving, eating pizza & candy, and having fun together!

On Sunday morning, we learned in Daniel 5, God helps Daniel understand a message when no one else could. Just like God gave Daniel the wisdom to explain the writing on the wall, he can help us know what to do in tricky situations. When we trust God and ask him for guidance, he helps us understand what’s right and gives us directions, even when things seem confusing or hard.
