Yesterday, our kids celebrated World Communion Sunday by taking a journey around the world!

We started in Asia, where Jesus lived and began his ministry, then traveled to Africa, where Christianity took root in the earliest days of the Church. From there, we journeyed to Europe, where Christianity spread and the Methodist movement began, before finally arriving in North America and learning how we are part of a worldwide, connectional United Methodist Church.

Along the way, we tasted snacks from around the world and created beautiful lanterns representing the places we visited.

But most importantly, our kids learned that while Christians around the world may speak different languages, worship in different ways, and have different cultural traditions, we are connected through Christ and gathered around one table.

Faithology 2026 comes to a close tomorrow morning. This weekend has been all about water and, man, God provided!

A little rain couldn’t stop our fun. Swimming in the rain, cool science experiments, a broadway winning performance, fun crafts, games, amazing worship, and full bellies have made for a memory filled weekend!

🌿 Day 3 at Rainforest Falls VBS was an adventure! 🌿

We discovered that God is our safe place. Through the story of David hiding from King Saul, we learned that even when life feels scary, overwhelming, or uncertain, God is always with us.

We talked about how everyone has worries and fears sometimes, but we never have to face them alone. Just as God was a refuge for David, God is our refuge too—a safe place for our hearts where we can bring our doubts, worries, and fears.

From worship and Bible adventures to crafts, science, games, and lots of laughter, it was another wonderful day at Rainforest Falls! We can’t wait to gather again tomorrow as we discover that God is love! 🦋🌴💚

🌿 Day 2 at Rainforest Falls VBS was full of fun and discovery! 🌿

Today we learned that God knows everything. Through our Bible adventures, we explored Psalm 139 and discovered that God knows us completely- our thoughts, our feelings, our worries, and our dreams.

In a world where it’s easy to feel overlooked or misunderstood, we are reminded of an amazing truth: we are fully known and fully loved by God. Nothing about our lives is hidden from Him, and He cares deeply for each one of us.

We had an incredible day of worship, games, crafts, science, and laughter, and we’re excited to see what’s next as we learn that God is our safe place! 🦋🌴

🌿 Day 1 at Rainforest Falls VBS was AMAZING!

We learned that God is our Creator and explored the incredible story of creation in Genesis 1.

Our big takeaway: God made each and every one of us intentionally, uniquely, and in His image. We were reminded that we don’t earn our worth or prove our value because we are already loved by God.

Thank you for sharing your children with us as we kicked off an incredible week at Rainforest Falls! 🦋🌴💚

On Sunday, our kids stepped into the story of Holy Week in a hands-on and meaningful way. We began by processing into worship waving palm branches, just like the crowds who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem shouting “Hosanna!”

In Sunday School, we explored what it means that Jesus is a different kind of King - one who comes with humility, love, and peace. They also spent time talking about prayer, learning that just like Jesus, we can talk to God honestly and trust Him even when things feel hard or confusing. Each child placed their own prayer on palm leaves as a reminder that God hears and cares.

Afterward, we celebrated together at our Palm Sunday Festival with so much joy: face painting, the Easter Bunny, balloon animals, a photo station, The Varsity food truck, and of course… an egg hunt!

It was a day full of celebration, connection, and reminders of God’s love for us.

This week, we were invited to feel how Jesus cared deeply for Lazarus and his family by bringing him back to life. Most parties wouldn’t happen without asking for the help you need—whether it’s setting up, cooking, or organizing. We learned how Jesus helped Lazarus and his family when they needed him, showing how deeply he cared for them. Even when the answer didn’t come right away, Jesus revealed his power and love, reminding us that "I’m invited to ask Jesus for help!"

Our Kids Ministry is full of faith, growth, and some pretty amazing “wow” moments.

We’ve been learning what it means to follow Jesus right now, trust in His power, and remember that everyone is invited into God’s family. Through it all, our kids have been asking big questions, building friendships, and growing in their understanding of God’s love.

We’re so thankful for each child, each family, and each volunteer who makes this ministry so special. We can’t wait to keep growing together!

Every Sunday we started our morning together lignting our Advent candle and making a special Advent craft. So far, we’ve created a hope lantern, a dove ornament, and a JOY canvas. We have one more special craft this Sunday and they get to take them all home.

We love our Level Creek Kids and spending Advent with them!
