🌿 Day 3 at Rainforest Falls VBS was an adventure! 🌿

We discovered that God is our safe place. Through the story of David hiding from King Saul, we learned that even when life feels scary, overwhelming, or uncertain, God is always with us.

We talked about how everyone has worries and fears sometimes, but we never have to face them alone. Just as God was a refuge for David, God is our refuge too—a safe place for our hearts where we can bring our doubts, worries, and fears.

From worship and Bible adventures to crafts, science, games, and lots of laughter, it was another wonderful day at Rainforest Falls! We can’t wait to gather again tomorrow as we discover that God is love! 🦋🌴💚

🌿 Day 2 at Rainforest Falls VBS was full of fun and discovery! 🌿

Today we learned that God knows everything. Through our Bible adventures, we explored Psalm 139 and discovered that God knows us completely- our thoughts, our feelings, our worries, and our dreams.

In a world where it’s easy to feel overlooked or misunderstood, we are reminded of an amazing truth: we are fully known and fully loved by God. Nothing about our lives is hidden from Him, and He cares deeply for each one of us.

We had an incredible day of worship, games, crafts, science, and laughter, and we’re excited to see what’s next as we learn that God is our safe place! 🦋🌴

🌿 Day 1 at Rainforest Falls VBS was AMAZING!

We learned that God is our Creator and explored the incredible story of creation in Genesis 1.

Our big takeaway: God made each and every one of us intentionally, uniquely, and in His image. We were reminded that we don’t earn our worth or prove our value because we are already loved by God.

Thank you for sharing your children with us as we kicked off an incredible week at Rainforest Falls! 🦋🌴💚

On Sunday, our kids stepped into the story of Holy Week in a hands-on and meaningful way. We began by processing into worship waving palm branches, just like the crowds who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem shouting “Hosanna!”

In Sunday School, we explored what it means that Jesus is a different kind of King - one who comes with humility, love, and peace. They also spent time talking about prayer, learning that just like Jesus, we can talk to God honestly and trust Him even when things feel hard or confusing. Each child placed their own prayer on palm leaves as a reminder that God hears and cares.

Afterward, we celebrated together at our Palm Sunday Festival with so much joy: face painting, the Easter Bunny, balloon animals, a photo station, The Varsity food truck, and of course… an egg hunt!

It was a day full of celebration, connection, and reminders of God’s love for us.
