Join us this summer for a 12-week Bible study based on A Season of Preparation & Transition by our very own Janel Robinson.

Together, we’ll explore God’s promises, encourage one another in faith, and discover how He is preparing us for the seasons ahead. This devotional journey through Proverbs offers Scripture-based encouragement, practical wisdom for everyday life, and opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection.

Today, we were reminded that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.

God doesn’t waste our trials.
He uses them to strengthen us, refine us, and draw us closer to Him.

Trust the process.
God is at work even in the hard places.

Every day, we discover signs of God’s presence. This week we are encouraged by the visit of dear friends that are spending a week in Guatemala to strengthen partnerships, to dive into deep conversation, sharing God’s love and assisting in times of difficulties. Thank you, Atlanta friends and Suwanee Worship Center, for your time and willingness to “come and see”. Enjoy the journey!

Members of Suwanee Worship Center, friends, and co-facilitators Rev. David Bowie and Erik Mjorud have returned from Guatemala with grateful hearts.

Partnering with CEDEPCA, the team participated in reforestation efforts and helped distribute trees, water filtration systems, and egg-laying chickens to support families and communities.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and encouraged this journey. While the team traveled to serve, they returned with new friendships, fresh perspectives, and a deeper appreciation for God’s work across cultures.

Special thanks to CEDEPCA and its Intercultural Encounters program, which creates opportunities to learn, build relationships, and grow together in faith through meaningful cross-cultural experiences.

Today we celebrated Graduation Sunday, honoring those who have reached this important milestone and recognizing the many academic achievements within our church family.

Grounded in Jeremiah 29:11–13, we were reminded that God knows the plans He has for us—plans filled with hope, purpose, and a future. As our graduates step into new seasons, we pray they will continue to seek Him with their whole hearts and trust His guidance every step of the way.

Congratulations to all of our graduates and scholars. We are proud of you and excited to see how God will work through your lives in the days ahead.
