We all need some encouragement now and then. We need people who are willing to cheer for us and believe we can succeed. And sometimes we need to be the encouragers and the ones who are willing to stand in support of others as they move onward and upward. It is hard to believe that our Summer Lunch Program has come to an end for the year. A BIG thank you to everyone who donated food, packed lunches, or served the lunches at the Mobile Home Village. We served almost 1300 lunches this summer. Level Creek UMC has helped to ensure that many children continued to receive meals during the summer break. Your generosity made a difference in the lives of many children!

Happy Birthday to two of our faithful members. Sheila Fraser-Derfler turned 93 on July 26 and Bob Armstrong turned 92 on July 22. There's no better way to celebrate a birthday than coming to worship!

We often imagine healing as if life is a game of Operation. If God is the Great Physician, surely healing means reaching in, removing whatever is wrong, and sending us on our way. But God's healing is much broader and life-giving than this. The healing Jesus offers is not always the healing we expect. But it is often the healing we need. God sees you. God loves you. And God is with you. Worship with us!
