Yesterday’s Memorial Day program was truly a beautiful and meaningful time of remembrance. We are so grateful to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make this day so special.
We especially want to thank our wonderful community for continuing to show up year after year to honor and remember our veterans. Your support, kindness, and presence mean more than words can say.
We would also like to sincerely thank every volunteer, speaker, and participant who gave their time to be a part of our program. Your willingness to serve, speak, sing, help organize, and contribute in so many ways helped make this ceremony so meaningful for our community and for the families of those we honor.
A very special thank you goes to our grounds crew and staff, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare for this day each year. They come in early, stay late, and put so much heart into making the cemetery grounds look beautiful and respectful for the families, community members, and veterans we honor. This year alone, nearly 4,500 flags were placed on veteran graves in honor of our veterans, a powerful tribute that reflects the gratitude and respect we have for those who served. Their hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed, and we appreciate them more than words can say.
We are forever grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to the families who carry that loss with them.
May we continue to remember, honor, and never forget those who gave everything for our country.
From all of us at Sutter Cemetery, thank you for helping keep their memory alive. ❤️🇺🇸
