FC WOMEN | FALL DAY RETREAT
Saturday, October 17 | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Location: The Ark | $30 - includes lunch ($20 for high schoolers!)
We will be taking a day to continue diving into the abiding practice of rest, utilizing the study Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath by Priscilla Shirer. This Bible study is focused on the concept of Sabbath rest. Shirer uses scripture, personal insight, and practical application to help us slow down, set boundaries, and create intentional space for God in our daily lives. There will be video sessions throughout the day, with the opportunity to debrief new learning in small groups between sessions. The day will encourage each of us to step away from busyness and constant productivity to find deeper spiritual renewal and trust in God.
Feel free to invite your friends! This event is open to ALL women - high school age and up.

As we are in the middle of our week back from retreat for those that were able to go, we’ll be posting a few things this month to help remind us that even if our everyday could be chaos, full of distractions, or even disappointments at times that God wants us to PAUSE ( silence, find solitude, and sabbath) and be Delighted in him, and you can ALWAYS go to him and leave it at his feet.. PLEASE, feel free to reach out( comments, messages) if you need an extra prayer as we adjust and try to apply what we learned or if you don’t attend, know you are always welcome to one of the Family Churches campuses!
