Donate to help Lisbon Presbyterian Church Rebuild

In April, the storms that blew through Wisconsin left Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Sussex significantly damaged by a tornado. Work is underway to rebuild, but the church will encounter costs not covered by insurance (eg, trees that need to be removed, parking lot destruction from heavy machinery). If you would like to make a monetary contribution to Lisbon for the work that will be done, please donate through the General Donations to the Presbytery link on the Presbytery's website and include "Lisbon" in the notes section (https://secure.myvanco.com/L-ZK76/campaign/C-14MB6).
The congregation is grateful for the support from their community.

After much encouragement, we have set up a GoFundme page. Please share for us! Thank you!

A Waukesha County congregation displaced by a Tuesday tornado found a temporary home Sunday when a nearby church opened its doors. TMJ4 attended a service there to see why congregants are hopeful.

Last night’s storm brought significant damage to our church and to many across Sussex.

At Lisbon Presbyterian Church, we are grateful that no one was hurt. We are holding in prayer all who are facing loss, disruption, or uncertainty today.

While our building has been impacted, our calling has not changed. We remain committed to being a place of care, hope, and community as we move forward together.

In the coming days, we hope to serve as a gathering point and a source of support for our neighbors as recovery begins.

How you can help:

• Pray for those affected

• Watch for volunteer opportunities

• Give if you are able to support recovery efforts

• Stay connected here for updates

The church is not just a building. It is people coming together in faith, hope, and love.

We will rebuild. And we will do it together.
