Visitors are always welcome to join us for Activities, Social Outings, Service Projects and Church Services! Our Congregations (we call them wards) are groups of Church members who live within a specific geographic area. >>How long are church services? If you attend both sacrament meeting and one of the meetings for men, women, or children, you can expect services to be about two hours long.

>>Do I have to participate at church? Visitors are welcome to participate, but they are not required to. When the bread and water of the sacrament (or Communion) are distributed to the congregation, if you don’t feel comfortable participating, simply pass the tray to the next person. Other than that, feel free to sit back and just enjoy the service.

>> What should I wear at church? You’re welcome to come in any clothes you feel comfortable in. Most men wear button-up shirts and ties, women typically wear dresses or skirts, and children usually dress up too. This is not an official page of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Nearly 100 teens from the community showed up to the first "Christian Teen Dance" Soda Shop Hop! 🔥

The energy, the music, the laughter—it was everything we hoped for and more.

We are so grateful for this community and the amazing teens who made it happen.
We’re just getting started. Keep an eye out here for the next dance!

This night truly came together because of so many generous people—thank you to Old Grande Cafe for the vintage café chairs, Andrea Singleton for the Coca-Cola pieces, and Shelly Shelley Templeton Bennett for all the incredible 50’s décor that brought the whole vision to life.
Kennya Jarvis your balloon arch skills are unmatched. 🙌
To all the parents who chaperoned and helped run security—thank you for creating a safe, fun space for these teens.

HEY SUSANVILLE TEENS! Turn up the music… it’s time to dance.

We’re bringing back good old-fashioned fun —
✨ introducing the very first Christian Teen Dance Night ✨

A night filled with music, friends, food and feel-good energy—
no pressure, just a place to hang out, laugh, and make memories.

🎶 Ages 14–18 (turning 14 in 2026)
📍 905 Richmond Rd. (Church across from Diamond View)

Think: soda shop vibes, great music, and a clean, high-energy atmosphere your teens will love.

This event is being put together by a group of local teens from different schools, churches, and backgrounds—with support from the team behind "The Live Nativity", an event that welcomes thousands each year.
