In worship today, September 13, 2026, we launched the Sunrise Acts2movement modeling the BWA Acts2movement. The launch took place in our mission worship service today. The congregation made a commitment to five pathways, namely Bible, Freedom and Justice, Witness, Neighbor and Care. This will be our missional focus to 2033, when we will celebrate the 2000th anniversary of Pentecost, Great Commission and the birth of the church.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026 First Baptist Church of Sunrise partnered with Lisa Dunkley, State Representative in distributing food items to members of the community. We are grateful to the members who participated along with students from neighboring schools! Mission is not just about proclamation. It is also about demonstration.
