✝️ True freedom isn’t found in a circumstance—it’s found in a Savior.

“So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.” — John 8:36

Jesus came to set us free from the guilt, shame, fear, and sin that weigh us down. Through His death and resurrection, we can experience forgiveness, restoration, and a relationship with God that changes everything.

As we celebrate Independence Day, let’s remember the greatest freedom of all—the freedom found in Christ.

🇺🇸 Join us for In God We Trust, a night of faith, freedom, and worship.

⏰ 6:00 PM
📍 Sunnyvale First Baptist Church

You can be around the things of God and still miss the Son of God.

In “Mightier (Part 11): Jesus Explains Religion to the Religious Leaders,” Deron Biles reminds us from Mark 2:23–28 that the Pharisees knew Scripture, practiced religion, and pursued holiness—yet they missed Jesus standing right in front of them.

Faith is more than knowing the right answers or checking spiritual boxes. The question is not simply, “Do I believe the right things?” but, “Have I surrendered to the One who is Lord over all things?”

Are you holding your traditions tighter than Scripture?

Traditions aren’t bad, but when we elevate them to the level of Scripture, we risk missing the whole point. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

You can know the Bible, keep every tradition, and still completely miss Jesus. The Pharisees did exactly that. What reli...

You can know the Bible, keep every tradition, and still completely miss Jesus. The Pharisees did exactly that. What religious habits or preferences have quietly moved to the center of your faith? He is Lord over all of it, including the things we hold most tightly.

Can you be deeply religious and still miss Jesus completely? That i...

🇺🇸 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12

As we celebrate our nation’s freedom, may we also remember our nation’s greatest need—not political agreement, economic success, or military strength, but God.

This week, let’s commit to praying for our leaders, our churches, our families, and the next generation. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to recognize the challenges around us, but to faithfully intercede for our nation and point others to the hope found in Jesus.

Join us for In God We Trust: A Night of Faith, Freedom, and Worship as we gather to worship, pray, and declare together that God alone is worthy of our trust.
