For 56 years, Pastor John dedicated himself to the study and proclamation of the Word of God. John’s steadfast defense of both the Lordship of Christ and the sufficiency of Scripture defined his theological commitments and formed an approach to ministry that became an example to multiple generations of pastors around the world.

Shepherds Conference 2026 will celebrate the biblical convictions and pastoral priorities that characterized the life and ministry of our pastor, friend, and fellow worker in the gospel, John MacArthur. Join us March 4–6, 2026, as we look to John’s example and, ultimately, to the Chief Shepherd, who is building His church through the ministry of faithful shepherds under His charge. Register now at shepherdsconference.org.

Even days later, we are still overwhelmed with all that God has done through this year’s conference—all to encourage and equip the saints to proclaim Christ to the ends of the earth!

How sweet and aweful is the place,
With Christ within the doors,
While everlasting love displays,
The choicest of her stores.

While all our hearts and all our songs,
Join to admire the feast,
Each of us cry with thankful tongues,
“Lord, why was I a guest?”

“Why was I made to hear Thy voice,
And enter while there’s room,
When thousands make a wretched choice,
And rather starve than come?”

No guilt in life, no fear in death,
This is the power of Christ in me.
From life’s first cry to final breath,
Jesus commands my destiny.
No power of hell, no scheme of man,
Can ever pluck me from His hand,
Till He returns or calls me home,
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!

O Most High, King of the ages
Great I AM, God of wonders
By the blood You have redeemed us
Led us through mighty waters
Our strength, our song, our sure salvation

Now to the Lamb upon the throne
Be blessing, honor, glory, power
For the battle You have won
Hallelujah! Amen

“But I do not make my life of any account nor dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.“
