"Freedom doesn't come wrapped in Red, White, and Blue.

It comes wrapped in sacrifice.

For Glory lights the soldier's tomb, and beauty weeps the brave."🇺🇸

Teacher Spotlight 🌟

Meet Kristin Loyd, our wonderful toddler teacher! This is her first year at the preschool, and we have truly enjoyed having her as part of our team.
Her favorite children’s book is Don’t Forget to Remember by Ellie, and her passion for teaching began at a young age. Inspired by her second grade teacher, Kristin has always known she wanted to become an educator. She loves helping children learn, grow, and become who they were created to be.
When she’s not spending her days with her sweet group of toddlers, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
Fun fact: Kristin lived in England for two years and was blessed with the opportunity to travel to many fascinating places throughout Europe!
Be sure to say hello to Kristin when you see her around!

Meet Mrs. Marguerite Helms! She is a wonderful 3-year-old assistant teacher with Mrs. Madison and has been part of our Preschool family for an incredible 26 years!
Her favorite children’s book is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, and her inspiration for becoming an educator came from the opportunity to spend time with her daughter.
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Marguerite enjoys visiting farmers markets, planting flowers, and taking trips to Florida.
Fun fact: she is the oldest teacher at the preschool! 😂
When you see Mrs. Marguerite, be sure to stop and say hello!

Teacher Spotlight 🌟

Meet Mrs. Deane Lotts, one of our wonderful kindergarten teachers here at First Pres! She has been part of our community for about 10 years, and her passion for teaching shines every day.
Mrs. Lotts’ favorite children’s book is Pumpkin Jack, and her journey into education was inspired by her own experiences growing up. She remembers struggling with confidence in school, which is why she’s dedicated to making sure every student feels at home, supported, and confident in themselves.
When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys reading, decorating, and spending quality time with her grandson.
Fun fact: Mrs. Lotts was born with a cleft palate, which was successfully repaired when she was just 11 months old.
Be sure to say hello the next time you see Mrs. Lotts—she’d love to meet you!
