The Bible is more than a collection of stories.

It is the story of a God who refused to abandon His creation.

The world began in perfection. Sin brought brokenness, pain, and death. But through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God began the work of restoring everything that was lost.

The Cross was not the end.

The Resurrection was not merely a victory over death.

It was the beginning of the journey back to God's original purpose for mankind.

Every time we take Communion, we remember where that journey began.

One day there will be no more death, sorrow, pain, or tears. Until then, we live with hope, knowing that God's restoration is already at work and His purpose cannot be stopped.

"Behold, I make all things new." — Revelation 21:5

It is with heavy hearts that we join in mourning the passing of Bishop Timothy L. Ballard, Sr.

Bishop Ballard was a respected leader in the Pentecostal United Churches of Christ Apostolic, Inc., a faithful servant of God, and a life that touched so many with wisdom, strength, and grace. He also held a special place in our hearts here at New Life, as he lovingly served as the officiant during the homegoing celebration of our Founding Pastor, Elder Ricky Finklea—a moment both the Finklea Family and the New Life family will never forget.

Today, we lift up Lady Theresa Ballard, the Ballard family, our PUCCA family, and every life impacted by Bishop Ballard’s ministry in prayer. May God grant comfort, peace, and strength in this difficult season.
