The Apostle Paul declares, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Everyone means ALL! We’ll explore the cultural context of Paul’s powerful words and consider what they mean for disciples of Jesus today.

And when the storms of life are raging, Matthew reminds us that Jesus is still coming toward us, still reaching for sinking people, and still saying, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” 🌊✝️

There are some thirsts that only God can satisfy. Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church as we welcome Rev. Mary L. Johnson while our pastor steals away for a week of spiritual renewal. 🙏💙

Rev. Johnson, a native of Sumter, South Carolina, is a retired Elder in the South Carolina Conference of The United Methodist Church. She has faithfully served congregations across South Carolina, including College Place UMC, St. James UMC, Mount Beulah UMC, Francis Burns UMC, and Journey UMC, and continues to offer leadership in spiritual formation and the wider ministry of the church.
