Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day at Word of Life Church! We had the privilege of celebrating ONE SOUL who took a powerful step of faith, obedience, and new life by being baptized in Jesus’ name!

What a joy it is to know that heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents!

Buried with Christ. RAISED to new life!
The old is gone. A NEW LIFE has begun!

We are so excited for our sister and this new beginning God has given her. We believe this is only the beginning of what God is going to do in her life!

“A MESSAGE GOD SENT THROUGH A STRANGER”
“YOU’RE WAY TOO CLOSE TO TURN BACK!” 🥾🔥

What an amazing Sunday at Word of Life Church of Sumter! 🙌🏽

Pastor Mack brought forth an encouraging and timely message born out of a hiking experience, one that God used to remind us that sometimes, when the journey gets difficult and the path feels long, we’re closer than we realize.

The word was simple but powerful: Don’t turn back now. You’re way too close!

Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:13-14 to forget those things which are behind, reach forward to what lies ahead, and press toward the prize of the high calling of God.

We saw that Word come alive!

One soul was baptized in Jesus’ name for the remission of sins! 🙌🏽🌊

What a beautiful reminder that God is still saving, still transforming, and still moving among His people. There is nothing like watching someone take that step of faith and experience new life in Jesus!

And the blessings didn’t stop when service ended. We shared in such sweet fellowship afterwards, breaking bread, laughing, having fun, and simply enjoying being together as the family of God. 🤍

What a Sunday! What a Word! What a move of God!

If you’ve been feeling tired, discouraged, or tempted to turn back, remember:

KEEP GOING.
KEEP PRESSING.
KEEP BELIEVING.
YOU’RE WAY TOO CLOSE TO TURN BACK! 🙏🏽🔥

“YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DADDY” | Romans 8:1–25

What a powerful move of God in the house today! 🙌🏽

Pastor Mack delivered a profound, yet plain and heart-pricking word from the Lord: “You Look Like Your Daddy.” From Romans 8:1–25, we were reminded of what it means to walk according to the Spirit, to live as children of God, and to reflect the One we belong to.

The Word of God is so rich. There was no need to dress it up, the Word was preached plainly, powerfully, and with conviction. And when the Word went forth, the people of God responded with surrender. 🙌🏽

There was a powerful move of God in the room today. Hearts were touched. Lives were stirred. And we were reminded that when we truly belong to our Father, His nature should be evident in us.

The question remains:

Do you look like your Daddy?

May our lives continue to reflect our Heavenly Father in the way we walk, the way we love, the way we live, and the way we respond to His voice.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

What a word. What a response. What a move of God.

As we walk into another week of word and walk let’s recap from last week! 😊

Last week we discussed the importance of being sensitive to the spirit of God: being discerning, prayerful, and open to flow with God wherever he should lead!

We discussed how easy it is to miss what God is doing when we are comfortable! So God has been encouraging us to do the hard thing, the uncomfortable thing, those things that will cost us something, but we believe there is a great reward.

We ended on discussing how truly important it is to be planted with like minded believers and other saints who are sensitive to the spirit of God!

And of course we couldn’t leave without some laughs and encouragement to give us a little extra to make it through the week! 🤗

Community is so important in this walk with Christ, if you’re looking for one, this fellowship opportunity is a great one to try! Well be back again, TODAY, at Sumter mall @ 6PM ✝️

There are some moments in worship that you can’t fully explain you can only experience them.

Today was one of those moments. 🙌🏽

There was a different sound in the room. A different atmosphere. A different depth of praise and worship. It wasn’t simply about the songs we sang; it was about the manifestation of God’s presence among His people.

Our worship team led us beyond performance and into an encounter. Hearts were lifted, hands were raised, and the atmosphere shifted as we worshiped together.

Today reminded us that when we make room for God, His presence makes the difference.

What a powerful experience. What a beautiful manifestation. What a mighty God we serve! 🔥🙌🏽
