🚶🏾‍♂️📖 Word & Walk Wednesday is TODAY!

Even though we're seeing some rain this morning, the current forecast shows it should clear up well before our 6:30 PM gathering time.

As of now, we are still planning to meet as scheduled. If anything changes, a cancellation or postponement notice will be posted before meeting time. If no update is posted, please plan to join us for Word & Walk Wednesday this evening.

Youth Sunday at WOL Church of Sumter was truly a beautiful and powerful experience! 🙌🏾

From the powerful pre-service prayer that shifted the atmosphere into worship, to our youth and children serving with excellence, today was a blessing. Special thanks to Sister Hope for coordinating and leading our youth and kids so well. They did an amazing job serving, singing, praying, and reading Scripture.

We were blessed by a powerful Word from our brother, Prophet Jerrard Isaac from Luke 5:1-11 on Trusting God and Obedience. Through both Scripture and personal testimony, he reminded us that when God calls you, no matter where you go or how far you run, you can never outrun the call of God. Sometimes God will allow things around us to fail not because we are incapable or not good enough, but because He desires to have first place in our lives and our priorities.

What a reminder that obedience to God opens the door for His purpose to be fulfilled in us. We thank God for every life touched and every seed planted today. 💙

This week’s Word & Walk Wednesday was so refreshing! 🤍

What a blessing it was to be back together for Word & Walk Wednesday! We had a meaningful conversation centered around "Being Still in a Busy World" and were reminded that in the midst of life's demands, God calls us to slow down, trust Him, and rest in His presence.

These walks are truly more than exercise they're an opportunity to grow in God's Word, encourage one another, and stay connected between Sundays. We're grateful for the fellowship, the conversation, and the chance to strengthen our faith together throughout the week.

We can't wait to do it again next Wednesday!

Note: A few friends had to head out before picture time, so not everyone is pictured but we were blessed by everyone who joined us! 🙌🏾.

This past Sunday, Pastor Mack brought a powerful message entitled “Your Past Is Not a Prison!” 🔥🔥

Revelation 12:7-11

What a timely reminder that the enemy may try to accuse us, remind us of our mistakes, and keep us bound by our past but through Jesus Christ, we have victory! 🙌🏽

Your past is not your identity!
Your past is not your future!
Your past is not your prison!

Because of the blood of Jesus and the power of His Word, chains are broken, strongholds come down, and freedom is available to all who believe.

We are so grateful for the season God has Word of Life Church in. We can truly sense Him doing a new thing in our midst. Lives are being touched, faith is being strengthened, and hearts are being drawn closer to Him. We give God all the glory for what He has done and what He is continuing to do.

As Psalm 124 reminds us, “The snare is broken, and we have escaped!”

Word of Life Church is so proud to recognize our high school graduate! What an incredible accomplishment and milestone.

We were honored to celebrate him, pray over him, and bless him with a gift as he prepares for this next chapter of life. We pray that God continues to guide his steps, grant him wisdom, and open doors of opportunity as he follows His purpose.

What a powerful Sunday at Word of Life Church of Sumter!
Elder Redwood’s message, “Watch Your Tongue,” was both challenging and necessary.
Our evening prayer and deliverance service was marked by surrender, breakthrough, and the undeniable presence of God. Pastor Mack’s word on “Increasing Our Spiritual Capacity” challenged us to make room for more of Him. Lives were touched, burdens were lifted, and deliverance took place. This was more than a service, it was an encounter with Jesus.
