"Proclaiming with Purpose"
Jesus declared, "Let's go to the neighboring villages so I may preach there too. This is why I have come."
He knew His purpose with crystal clarity.
While not all of us are called to preach from a pulpit, we are all called to proclaim β to be heralds of the King.
The word "kerussΕ" means to act as a messenger, to share good news.
As Pastor Chris shared on Sunday, Charles Spurgeon's life was transformed when an unnamed substitute preacher simply repeated the words, "Look to Jesus."
That simple proclamation changed the course of history for Spurgeon and countless others.
You may not feel eloquent or prepared, but God can use your willingness to point others to Christ.
"What can I share?" β Your testimony, your life, your words.
Someone in your sphere of influence needs to hear about the hope you've found.
Don't ever underestimate the power of simply saying, "Look to Jesus."
REFLECT: Who in your life needs to hear about the hope you have in Jesus, and how can you share that this week?
