The kids at the Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center had a wonderful day at Summer Camp! We started our day with reading, then headed to the movies to watch Bad Guys 2. After enjoying lunch, we had table inspections and finished the day cooling off at the splash pad.

We also had an exciting surprise this evening—our new betta fish arrived at 6:00 PM! The kids are looking forward to releasing it into its tank and choosing a name for it tomorrow. 🐟

The fun continues tomorrow, and we are especially excited for Pool Day! 🏊‍♂️ Thank you to everyone who helps make these special experiences possible for our kids.

☀️🎉 We had a great first day of Summer Camp at the Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center!

Today, we had fun getting to know one another, making name tags, and enjoying our “Make Your Own Drink” station. The kids also helped set up our new fish tank for our betta fish, and they were so excited to be part of the process!

We are looking forward to even more fun tomorrow as we head to the movies and the splash pad! 😎🎬💦

A huge thank you to Stephanie Griffin for stopping by the Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center today! ❤️

Stephanie spent time decorating the outside of our youth center, brought supplies for the kids to make their own drinks tomorrow, and purchased several other items for our program. Her kindness, generosity, and continued support mean so much to us.

We are truly blessed to have people like Stephanie who consistently go above and beyond for our children. Thank you for all you do for the Red Shield Youth Center and for helping make our program special for the kids. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🥰🎉

A special thank you to Billy and Tarah Berry for sponsoring our Mental Health Event field trip, and thank you to everyone who donated and supported our kids. We are looking into purchasing a snow cone machine with the remaining funds to make summer even more fun for the children.
