model, operating in alignment with the five ascension gifts of Christ: Apostles,
Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. We are a prophetic people who
operate under an Apostleship to establish a multi-ethnic, socially and
financially diverse community of believers. Our Vision is to train disciples to become leaders; equipping

Happy Freedom Day! Though President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, it was unenforceable in Confederate controlled areas. It wasn’t until June 19, 1865, that Union Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Texas to read “General Order No. 3,” finally enforcing the freedom of 250,000 enslaved Blacks.

While the traditional Juneteenth flag bears the colors red, white and blue to serve as a reminder that enslaved people and their descendants are Americans, many prefer to use the colors of the Pan-African flag which represents the global African diaspora and the unity of Black people.

Holy Saturday is the quiet in between. A day of waiting, reflection, and hope. Jesus lies in the tomb, and the world holds its breath. It’s a reminder that even in the silence, God is still at work!

Today, we honor this sacred pause by slowing down, sitting in stillness, and trusting what we cannot yet see. Light a candle, say a prayer, rest in the promise that Sunday is coming. 🕊️
