"Remembering the Emanuel Nine" Worship Service - Held in honor of the nine lives lost during the tragic shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 17, 2015.

We will gather this year in the sanctuary of Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 6:30pm.

Please join us for this time of worship and remembering. It's been eleven years, but for some, it seems like yesterday. This service is opened to the public. Please come and bring a friend.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the value of freedom, unity, and community.

As we reflect this Memorial Day, let us also remember the importance of using our voices to help strengthen and support the communities we live in. One way we do that is by staying informed and participating in elections that impact our neighborhoods, schools, and future.

As the June 9 Primary Election approaches, take time to check your voter registration, learn about the candidates, and know your polling place.

Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church invites you to a meaningful and supportive Healing Hearts Workshop on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM

We are honored to welcome Rev. Dr. Mekeshia D. Bates, author of No Shame: Bridging the Gap Between Mental Health and Religion in the Black Church, as our guest facilitator.

This workshop will provide a safe space to explore topics such as shame, stigma, depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief—while focusing on how the church can be a place of healing, support, and restoration.

Through open discussion, spiritual encouragement, and practical tools, participants will gain insight to help navigate emotional wellness and move toward healing and wholeness.
