This morning we hear of the encounter along the Road to Emmaus.

The Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35) is a story of finding Jesus in the midst of disappointment and confusion. Even when followers cannot recognize Him, Jesus walks alongside them, transforming their despair into hope by opening their eyes to His presence and the Scriptures. It teaches that God is actively present in our daily, "ordinary" lives, even when He seems hidden.
