Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Welcomes Distinguished Guests

Pastor LaTreVion Wells and the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church family were honored to welcome several distinguished guests last Sunday, August 16, 2026, during our Worship Service.

We were blessed to have Magnolia Mayor Marvin Brumfield, Magnolia City Attorney Ashunda Hampton, and Summit Mayor Percy Robinson join us for worship and fellowship.

Pine Grove is grateful for their presence and for their continued commitment to serving the citizens of our communities.

Scripture: 2 Kings 7:1 (KJV)

Pastor LaTreVion Wells delivered a powerful message reminding us that our present circumstances do not determine our future.

From 2 Kings 7:1, Elisha declared, “To morrow about this time…” Even though Samaria was facing a desperate situation, God had already prepared a breakthrough.

The message encouraged us to keep believing, keep trusting God, and never allow today’s circumstances to make us give up on tomorrow’s promise.

Especially to our youth: where you are today is not where you have to remain. God has purpose for your life, and He can change your situation in ways you never expected.

Today may look difficult, but remember—God is already working on tomorrow!

What a powerful worship experience at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor LaTreVion Wells!

The Word was moving, the presence of God was felt, and the message reminded us that sometimes our praise tells a story that words cannot express. When God has been good to you, your praise becomes a testimony of His faithfulness, His mercy, and His grace.

We thank God that one member came forward to be saved after hearing the moving message! 🙌🏽

There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a soul respond to the call of Christ.

Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Worship Service & Holy Communion

What a powerful move of God during worship today at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor LaTreVion Wells.

Pastor Wells delivered a timely and challenging message entitled “Don’t Waste This Month,” reminding the congregation that every day is a gift from God and an opportunity to walk in wisdom, purpose, and obedience.

Scripture: Ephesians 5:15–16 (KJV)
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Pastor Wells encouraged the church to make the most of every opportunity, to be intentional with their time, and to live each day in a way that honors God.

The greatest celebration of the day came during the invitation, as Pastor Wells opened the doors of the church and eight new members came to the altar to unite with the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church family.

To God be all the glory for another soul-stirring worship experience and for the continued growth of His Kingdom.

Subject: “Don’t Die Thirsty”

Scripture: John 7:37–39

What a powerful, Spirit-filled, and intensely moving message! Pastor LaTreVion Wells reminded us that Jesus is the only One who can satisfy the deepest thirst of the human soul. Too many people spend their lives searching for fulfillment in temporary things, while the Living Water is freely available through Christ.

The challenge was clear: Don’t leave this life spiritually dehydrated. Come to Jesus, drink from the Living Water, and allow the Holy Spirit to fill, refresh, and transform your life. When we continually seek Him, rivers of living water will flow from within us, bringing hope, peace, purpose, and life to others.

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.” — John 7:37

What an unforgettable Word that encouraged every believer to stay connected to the Source and never allow their spiritual thirst to go unmet.
