Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church was honored and delighted to welcome members of the McComb High School Class of 1981 during our worship service as they concluded a memorable weekend of reunion activities

What a blessing it was to have these distinguished alumni gather in the House of the Lord to celebrate not only cherished memories and lifelong friendships, but also God’s faithfulness throughout the years. Their presence added a spirit of joy, fellowship, and gratitude to our worship experience.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the McComb High School Class of 1981 for choosing Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church as part of their reunion celebration. Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Worship Service

Pastor LaTreVion Wells continued his sermon series, “The Seven Things God Hates – Part II,” with a powerful message entitled “Blood on Your Hands.”

Scripture Text: Book of Proverbs

Pastor Wells focused on the truth that “sin is never isolated.” He emphasized that our actions do not affect only us; they often impact our families, friends, church, and community. Using Proverbs 6, he highlighted how several of the sins listed among the things God hates involve causing harm to others through violence, dishonesty, and sowing discord.

Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church Worship and Communion Service

Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church was blessed to gather for Worship and Communion Service under the leadership of Pastor LaTreVion Wells.

Pastor Wells delivered a dynamic and inspiring message titled “Pride Will Bring You Down” from Proverbs 6:16-17. Through the preached Word, the congregation was reminded of the dangers of pride and the importance of humility before God.

The message encouraged believers to examine their hearts, remain dependent upon God, and walk in obedience and humility. As Scripture teaches, pride can lead to destruction, but humility opens the door to God’s grace and favor.

Following the message, the church came together in Holy Communion, reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and renewing their commitment to faithful Christian living.
