HERE IS THE RIGHT PICTURE OF GOD:

God is everything
God is over everything
God is absolutely in control
God is completely and utterly holy and perfect in every single thing
God is everlasting
God has always been and shall always be
God is without beginning and without end
God is love
God is gracious without measure
God is merciful without measure
God is absolutely just in all things
God is absolutely and wholly fair in all things
God never changes and cannot change - perfect cannot change
God is One - Father, Son, Holy Spirit
God is Creator
God is our source for everything - life, breath, eternal life...
God is light
God is healing
God is all powerful
God is all knowing
God's ways are far above our knowing except at basic levels
God's thoughts are higher than ours can even imagine
God loves you
God is vitally interested in your life - my life
God is always present
God is looking out for you
God is working out things better than anything we can dream
God is not "a thing" God is everything - Nothing exists without Him
