Just a few quick announcements:
1. This Sunday, December 22, the youth will be taking part in Secret Church (The Cross and Everyday Life) immediately after morning worship. We will have lunch at the church around 12, and Secret Church will begin at roughly 12:30. There is no cost, and anyone in the church is welcome to attend.
2. Immediately following Secret Church, the youth will be having their Christmas Fellowship from 7pm to 9pm at NHBC. There will be food, games, and lots of fellowship! If a student wants to participate in the gift exchange, he or she will need to bring a wrapped present costing no more that $10 to the party. We will also have food and snacks for the party.
3. Lastly, while the shirts have not come in yet, we were able to order youth shirts, after all, thanks to a generous donation. These will be available at no cost on a first come, first serve basis, once the shirts arrive.

Church t-shirts have been ordered and should be in by Christmas. Unfortunately, we did not sell enough of the youth sizes to make an order, so if you ordered a youth size, please see Bro. Joseph about getting a refund for the cost of the shirt. We hope that the church t-shirts will be something we do each year, so if you have an idea of what you might like to see on the next one, please feel free to get with Bro. Joseph to discuss it. Thank you to those who ordered shirts, and we will let y'all know when they come in.

Announcements for upcoming youth and college activities:

1. Tomorrow, November 21, will be the final Theology Thursday until after the new year. We will start class at 5pm, rather than 6pm, to help ensure that we are able to get through the final two lessons. We are planning to offer another class in the Spring.

2. We have been asked to come help with restocking the shelves at the Pike County Baptist Association. Anyone who is able to help can meet at the church this Friday, November 22, at 11:30am or at the Student Center at SMCC at 11:45am. We ought to be done and back on campus by around 2:15pm.

3. This coming Sunday will be the final day of the t-shirt fundraiser for the youth mission trip. Thank you to those who have already purchased one! If you haven't and would like to, there's still time, but it's quickly running out.

4. It's still a few weeks away, but our Christmas party will be Sunday, December 22, at 5pm (location tbd). We will be doing a gift exchange ($10 maximum), playing holiday themed games, and fellowshipping.

5. Lastly, if you signed up for CrossCon (January 1-4) and haven't paid yet, please get with Bro. Joseph. As of December 1, any remaining, unpaid spots will be up for grabs. This event is for those students who are juniors / seniors in high school or are in college.

Good Evening. We have a couple of announcements to share:

1. Tonight, we will be completing our 5th Session of Theology Thursday. All are welcome to join us at 6pm as we engage and discuss the nature and working of God.
2. Next Friday, October 25, we will have a youth fellowship at the Ingram house. (This was originally scheduled for this weekend, but has to be delayed by a week).
3. We will be selling t-shirts again over the next few weeks. These shirts can be seen in the image, will be available in long and short sleeve, and will be available in kids' sizes.
4. In two weeks, we will have a booth set up to participate in the church's "Light Up the Night" activities. As this is our fellowship night, we will have food and drinks in the youth room starting at 5pm. Please come and help us share the gospel with the community.

Come join us tonight as we continue our study through the book of Ephesians. Tonight, we will be looking at the love of the Ephesian believers for God and one another, as well as God's love and affection for them in Ephesians 1:15 - 19a. Our song for tonight is "Completely Known, Completely Loved" by Matt Boswell and Matt Papa (link below). We start at 6:15pm and all students 9th grade - college are welcome, as are any adults or others that might want to join us!

Additionally, next Wednesday, September 27, is our fellowship night, so make plans to join us for that. We will have food, fun, and fruitful conversations. Lastly, tomorrow night, Thursday, September 19, is our second session of For the Church: Theology, where we study some of the long-held truths of God's word. All are welcome to come and participate at 6pm in the youth room! We hope to see you there!

Tonight, we will begin a new study on apologetics, or the defense of the Christian faith. We will begin by looking at the definition of apologetics, and from there we will move into specific examples of arguments, etc. We will also be looking at examples of apologists and how they engage with various people for the presentation of the gospel to the glory of God. Also, we have our second session of For the Church: Theology this Thursday night @ 6pm. If you missed last week, that's perfectly fine. We would still love to have you come and join with us as we learn and discuss and grow together!

Two announcements:
1. Tonight begins our "Theology Thursday" series in which we will be partaking in a "For the Church Institute" through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. We will be meeting in the youth room from 6pm - 8pm each Thursday night from now through November 7. Tonight we will be doing a basic introduction and walking through Session 1: What Makes Theology Theological. We will have some snacks and drinks, and everyone is welcome. If you want to receive a certificate or CEU's for participating, you will need to register; however, you are more than welcome to come, sit, listen, and engage without registering. There is no cost and all you need to bring is your Bible. We hope to see you there!

2. This upcoming Sunday is the deadline to sign up for CrossCon, the high school and college conference that we are attending January 1-4 in Lexington, KY. This is for all students 11th grade - college, and adults are more than welcome to come as well. The cost is $50/person and can be paid any time between now and January.

For those interested in participating, here is the link to our first "For the Church Institute" study we will be participating in on Thursday nights starting September 5. This study will consists of ten weekly meetings which will include guided discussion and videos. These lessons are created, distributed, and overseen by Spurgeon College at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminaries, one of the SBC's six seminaries. The focus of this ten week study is Christian Theology. If you are interested in receiving a certificate of completion and to be eligible for CEU's, you must register using the link provided; however, you may still come, participate, and observe, without registering, if you so desire. There is no cost, other than 1 - 2 hours per week, but a lot of good information to learn! Hope to see you there! Soli Deo Gloria!

Good morning. Two quick announcements:

1. Tonight, August 4, we will be meeting at 5 to watch Paul Washer's sermon "Ten Indictments Against the Modern Church." This is the sermon upon which the book we've been reading is based. We will have food at the church around 4:30pm, so we can begin the video at 5pm and be done by around 7pm. We hope to see you there!

2. We will be having a swim party at the Formans' home this Saturday night from 5pm to 9pm. We will leave the church around 4:30pm and be back by 9:30pm.

3. We have sign-up sheets up in the youth room for CrossCon (11th Grade - College) and our Spring Break mission trip to Orlando. Please stop by and sign up if you are interested.

4. Lastly, our new books, "The Explicit Gospel," by Matt Chandler is in the youth room for those moving up to high school or for those who have been out. Please stop by and grab your copy, as we will begin this book next Sunday, August 11.
