Unfiltered Church is prayerfully seeking a Worship Leader.

As we prepare to gather weekly on Sunday nights, we are asking the Lord to send the right person to help lead our church family in Christ centered, Scripture anchored worship.

We are not building a stage.
We are building an altar.

We’re looking for someone who:

🙌 Loves Jesus deeply.
🙌 Holds to biblical truth without compromise.
🙌 Leads with humility and spiritual maturity.
🙌 Understands worship is about shepherding hearts, not performing.

Unfiltered Church exists to proclaim truth in a culture of confusion, with both courage and compassion. We believe worship should reflect that same heart: reverent, passionate, and grounded in the Word.

Today is Ash Wednesday.

And no, it’s not about religious cosmetics or posting a selfie with a smudge on your forehead.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The 40 day journey leading to Easter. It’s a day that reminds us of something most of us try to avoid thinking about:

“From dust you came, and to dust you shall return.” -Genesis 3:19

The ashes symbolize repentance. Mortality. Humility. The reality that life is fragile and we are not in control.

But here’s the good news. It’s not a day of despair. It’s a day of alignment.

Ash Wednesday calls us to slow down, examine our hearts, turn from sin, and fix our eyes on Jesus.

It reminds us that we are not self made. We are dependent on the grace of God.

At Unfiltered Church, we don’t do empty rituals. But we do believe in intentional reflection.

Lent is not about earning salvation.
It’s about preparing your heart for the cross.

It’s about letting God strip away pride, distraction, compromise, and comfort so that when Resurrection Sunday comes, you understand just how desperate you were for it.

So today, we pause. We repent. We remember. And we begin the journey to the cross.

Happy Ash Wednesday.

John Chrysostom got called “Golden-Mouthed” because when he opened the Bible, it thundered, not because he was smooth.

He confronted corruption. He preached verse by verse. He refused to compromise. And it cost him exile.

Here’s the question: would the modern church even tolerate a man like that?

Meet Chad & Ashley Logan! The hearts behind Unfiltered Church.

We want to take a moment to introduce the couple God is using to help shape what Unfiltered Church is becoming.

Chad and Ashley have been married for almost 12 years and are raising three children together. Family is central to their calling and deeply influences the way they approach ministry. Honest, grounded, and rooted in real life.

Chad has served in ministry for over 15 years, carrying leadership in many different roles along the way. From youth pastor to worship leader, preaching, teaching, and discipling across diverse church settings. His heart has always been for people who feel overlooked, burned by church, or unsure where they belong.

In 2018, Chad planted The Hope Project, a Christ-centered outreach and recovery focused ministry created to serve drug and alcohol addicts and their loved ones, meeting people at some of the hardest moments of their lives and walking with them toward healing and new life in Jesus. Through discipleship, community, and the clear preaching of the gospel, the ministry witnessed around 700 people make a decision to follow Jesus. That season deeply shaped Chad’s conviction that transformation happens best in environments marked by truth, grace, and authentic community, not performance.

Ashley grew up in church and has been involved in ministry for most of her life, serving faithfully in leadership and support roles with a deep love for people and a steady commitment to walking with others through real life. Together, Chad and Ashley share a burden for discipleship that is real, relational, and rooted in Scripture.

So what is Unfiltered Church?

Unfiltered Church is being built as a place for people who want a faith that’s honest, rooted, and real. It’s for those who love Jesus, those trying to figure Him out, and those who may have been hurt by church but still believe God isn’t finished with them.

This church is being formed slowly and intentionally, centered on Scripture as our foundation, prayer as our lifeline, and community as the way we grow. It’s not about hype, polish, or pretending. It’s about truth spoken in love, grace that leads to transformation, and walking with one another through real life.

Because Unfiltered Church isn’t a finished product. It’s a family being formed. It’s a place where questions are welcome, healing is possible, and you don’t have to have it all together to belong.
