Proclaim Creative Arts Ministry

Proclaim Creative Arts Ministry P.R.O.C.L.A.I.M. is a Creative Arts Ministry of Crossroads Community Church. The members of PROCLAIM range in age from 10 years old to over 60.

This group consists of people who have developed their God-given talents to provide the message of Jesus Christ through the creative arts. This is accomplished through the mediums of black light theatre, puppetry, clowning, interpretive movement, vocals, and music. They perform at Vacation Bible Schools, Flowertown Festival, our annual Outreach Production —”When Love Came Down”, Awana Celebration

s and various other venues including state conferences. The size of the team averages between 45-50 people from a variety of church bodies and denominations. They are madly in love with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and keep our mission statement close to heart.

Dear Directors,

After 27 years, Barbara and I are announcing our retirement from the Creative Arts. Over the years, God has blessed PROCLAIM in numerous ways. We have been blessed in not only sharing the Good News that Jesus is our Savior, but watching young people blossom in the arts, grow up in the Lord, marry and raising their children in Christ.

So many have been instrumental in the disciplining of thousands of young artists and even not so young ones. We give Jesus thanksgiving for bring you into our lives. Some of you have grown up in the ministry and now are main part of Acts 5:42 “. . . teaching and PROCLAIMing the Good News that Jesus is the Messiah.”

You may ask the question as to what will be happening in the fall. Per Pastor Joey, “CCC would love to continue the Proclaim Creative Arts ministry here at Crossroads in the fall and currently are looking at several options for who will lead this ministry.” So, if you have any suggestions/questions, please put them in writing and send them to [email protected].

As Barbara and I transition into ministry in our season of life, we look forward to praying and watching you flourish in your respective art forms and ministries.
