But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. Psalm 13:5 KJV

Gracious and Great Father God, we praise You as we observe Black History Month, reflecting on the steadfast love that delivered and upheld our ancestors—and continues to sustain us—through Jesus Christ. Empower us to serve You faithfully, sharing Your goodness wherever we go, so that people everywhere may come to know Your magnificent mercy as we do. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father God, we praise You as we celebrate Black History Month, thanking You for Your protective presence that sustained our ancestors and continues to sustain us today. We have no fear of what our enemies can do, for You are for us. Let our history of trusting You become a living testimony that leads others to trust Jesus for their salvation and security.
