New Week, New Beginnings
"Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you."

A New week is more than another seven days on the calendar. It is another blessing from God and another opportunity to strengthen our relationship with Him.

As we begin this week, there will be many things competing for our attention: work, family, responsibilities, appointments, and unexpected challenges. But in the midst of everything we have to do, let us not forget the importance of staying connected to God.

Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine, ye are the branches....for without me ye can nothing." Just as a branch must remain connected to the vine to live and produce fruit, we must remain connected to Christ.

Begin each day with prayer. Spend time in God's Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your decisions. Thank God for His goodness, and trust Him even when the week does not go according to your plans.

Remember, every blessing may not look like a blessing at frst. Sometimes God open doors, and sometimes He closes them. Sometimes He answers immediately, and sometimes He tells us to wait. Whatever He allows, we can trust His wisdom and His faithfulness.

So as we enter this new week, let this be our commitment:
Stay prayerful. Stay faithful. Stay in the Word. Stay connected to God.

New week. New Blessings. Greater opportunities to draw closer to HIm.

Understanding Satan’s Mission to Destroy You

Satan’s mission is clear: to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). He seeks to steal your peace, joy, faith, and purpose; kill your hope, relationships, and spiritual growth; and destroy your witness and effectiveness for God’s kingdom.

His greatest weapon is deception. Jesus called him “the father of lies” (John 8:44), because he works to turn our hearts away from God’s truth. Peter warns believers to remain alert because our adversary is constantly looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).

But God has not left us defenseless. Through His Word, prayer, faith, and the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11), we are equipped to stand firm against the enemy’s attacks.

Satan’s mission is destruction, but Christ’s mission is life. Stay close to God, stand on His Word, and remember that the victory has already been won through Jesus Christ.
