Next Sunday, September 13, our 3rd graders will receive a Bible during a special presentation at the 8:30 AM worship service in the Sanctuary.

🎒 This Sunday is a BIG day at Bethany, and we can't wait to see you!

Join us as we kick off a new school year with a day full of worship, celebration, and fun!

📚 Backpack Blessing – Bring your backpacks to any worship service as we pray over our students, teachers, school staff, and everyone involved in education.

🌟 Promotion Sunday – Children will move up to their new Sunday School classes for the school year.

👨‍👩‍👧 ASCEND Parent Meeting – Parents of youth (grades 6–12), join us at 9:45 am in Spell Chapel to hear about the upcoming calendar, events, and plans for the new year.

🎉 Back-to-School Bash – Everyone is invited to join us from 4:00–5:30 pm in the parking lot for inflatables, games, music, food, and fun for the whole family!

🔥 ASCEND Back-to-School Kickoff – Students in grades 6–12 are invited to stay (or come back) at 5:30 pm for an evening of food, games, inflatables, and fellowship as we launch a new year together.

Invite a friend, neighbor, or classmate and join us for an exciting day at Bethany! We look forward to celebrating with you! 💙

Blessing of the Backpacks – This Sunday!

As a new school year begins, we invite you to join us for our Blessing of the Backpacks during both worship services this Sunday.

Bring your backpack or school bag for a special blessing as we pray for God's guidance, protection, and wisdom throughout the year. You'll also receive a special tag to attach to your bag—a reminder that your Bethany family is praying for you.

This blessing is for students, teachers, school staff, parents, grandparents, and anyone who is or has someone heading back to school.

Let's begin this school year surrounded by prayer and encouraged by God's presence. We can't wait to see you Sunday!
