Ladies, please join us for the return of our Annual Light Along the Path event on Tuesday, October 4th, from 6p-8p in the Atrium. Scripture tells us, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16). Why, then, do so many believers feel as though their prayers are powerless and ineffective? Join us as Sherry Schumann delves into Scripture to uncover the things that hinder our prayer life. Topics include our propensity to be busy, feel inadequate, talk without listening, hold grudges and forget to delight in our Savior.
Ladies with last names A-S please bring a salad, and ladies with last names T-Z please bring a dessert. The event is free. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

Join us on Friday mornings, starting March 04, at 9:15a in the Connect Room Skardon Hall to start a new study on "Biblical Submission" by Erilynne Barnum taught by Joan Ilagan. You don't have to pre-register. Invite a friend & come on!

Does the word "submission" bother you? Scare you? Turn you away? Does it stir up bad memories? At home, in church? "Yet,” Erilynne Barnum states, "Christians remain powerless without a proper understanding of true biblical submission."

This key principle:
* reveals the inner life of the Trinity
* explains the relationship of the Lord Jesus Christ with the Father
* was central to how Jesus discipled the apostles
* is intended to define our relationship with the Lord and with each other.

These six teachings deal straight on with the symbol of marriage, the role of headship, and how this principle can be applied in our daily lives. If we are to step into the calling we have been given, it must begin here with the practice of authentic biblical submission.

Jesus had his 12 friends and also his circle of 3 with Peter, James and John. Do you desire a smaller, more intimate setting of 3 others for your discipleship journey? Some ladies want a small, close knit group with whom to share, learn about Jesus Christ through scripture, and pray. They want more time to really get to know others and be known as one of Christ’s own, having deeper relationships. There is a growing movement at St. Paul’s to make this happen, we’d love to have you be a part of it! If this appeals to you, we encourage you to sign up for a “Discipleship Group” or as we will refer to them as “D Groups.”

If you are interested in participating or leading one of these groups, we would love to answer your questions and help you get started. Please contact Patricia Smith - ([email protected])

Have you heard about the Women's Build?
WB is an entire home, supported primarily by Women Builders. It is one of our favorite weeks of the year when you can grab a group of friends, learn some construction new skills, and meet the future homeowner, whose life you are changing by volunteering.
Women's Build will take place Monday - Saturday, March 8-20th. Build shifts are available from 8am-12pm, each morning. Contact us at [email protected] to see availability if you'd like to bring a group.

We will be building in Knightsville and in St. George. $30 registration includes construction training, a t-shirt, snacks and lunch.

This coming Saturday, February 20th,Susan Yates will be speaking at a retreat in Columbus, Georgia on “Finding Peace in Times of Uncertainty.”

The great news is that the livestream of the event is FREE to anyone who wants to watch!

It's from 9am - 3pm (Eastern Time), and she will be speaking three times. Plus, there will be worship music.

If you want to join her, simply register right here for access to the event. (Registration deadline is Wednesday, Feb. 17.)

We are all tired of isolation and perhaps lonely. In addition, we really need encouragement and some solid practical, Biblical teaching.

I’d love to encourage you to plan your own retreat day with a few friends (socially distanced). Create a special luncheon, curl up with your Bibles and notebooks and listen to messages that are practical and uplifting.

These talks make for some good discussion amongst neighbors, friends, colleagues, etc. You’ll grow closer to one another and gain a new perspective of how much Bigger our God is than you may have realized.
