Huge congrats to Bethany’s Heather Tucker on her 3rd (yes 3rd!) state title for softball. Heather teaches and coaches at Summerville High School. Way to go!!

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the true cost of freedom, and we are forever grateful.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect, pray, and give thanks for those who served with courage and selflessness.

⚽🏀🏈 Bethany Youth “Play It Forward” Ministry 🏐

Join us on Saturday, May 30, from 10am–2pm at Wassamassaw Community Playground for a fun day of fellowship with Summerville-area youth! Bethany Youth will be giving away new sports balls while enjoying games, fellowship, hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks together.

Throughout May, we are collecting new footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, and soccer balls to help make this ministry possible. Donations may be dropped off at the Welcome Center, and monetary donations are also welcome (please mark “sports balls”).

On Sunday, we had the joy of celebrating our graduating seniors during the 8:30 AM worship service and again at a special dinner during Youth ASCEND. We are so proud of each of them and pray for God’s blessings as they begin this exciting new chapter.

No matter where life takes them, we want them to always remember that they will forever have a place to call home at Bethany UMC. 💙🎓

This morning, we were blessed to celebrate the confirmation of our confirmands. What a wonderful and meaningful morning for our church family! We are so thankful for each student and for the mentors who walked alongside them in faith and encouragement. 💙
