What a wonderful weekend we had in the house of God! ❤️

Sunday brought us two powerful services and two timely messages from our pastor. Hearts are still crying out, the altars are still filling, and people are still seeking God. Prayer lines continue to form as individuals come forward to be prayed over and anointed with oil, just as Scripture instructs us: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14

We never want to take His presence for granted. We are humbled, grateful, and so thankful that the Spirit of God continues to meet us in His house, walks with us throughout each day, and goes before us into every place the week may carry us. To God be all the glory for what He has done, and for what He is still doing!

Yesterday was a HOT one ☀️🍦 but we found the sweetest way to cool down! We had such a good time at our church Ice Cream Social with good fellowship, plenty of laughs, and of course, plenty of ice cream. We’re thankful for every opportunity we get to slow down, spend time together, and simply enjoy being a church family. ❤️

When we say our preacher doesn’t tickle ears, we mean it! 😂 Around here, he doesn’t tell us what we want to hear…he preaches the truth we need to hear. And sometimes, he may even adjust your hearing aid so you don’t miss a word! 👂📖

SIN WILL ALWAYS TAKE YOU FURTHER THAN YOU INTENDED TO GO.
We are so thankful for Brother Samuel Boyd and the Word he brought during our Youth Sunday service! He preached boldly about sin and the danger of lust, reminding us that what begins as a desire entertained in the heart can become a doorway for other sins to enter our lives. But the message wasn’t without hope: God did not create us to be bound by sin, He created us to live surrendered, holy, and free in Him! What an encouragement to see a young man willing to stand and preach truth in a generation that desperately needs to hear it. “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace…” — 2 Timothy 2:22 ❤️‍🔥

There are some services that just feel like HOME. We were so thankful to have Brother Steven Anderson back with us Sunday night, and for a little while, it truly felt like old times. He preached an encouraging, timely Word that the Body needed to hear, and you could feel the burden and the victory in every word, and shout, he delivered. And when the preaching turned into rejoicing… well, some things just can’t be contained! 🙌 We thank God for Brother Steven, for the Word He placed in his heart, and for another Sunday night where the Lord met with His people at West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church.

We are still thanking God for what He did through our youth on Youth Sunday!

From teaching Sunday School and opening service to leading worship, playing instruments and preaching the Word, each one accepted an opportunity to step forward and serve. What blessed us most was not simply what they did, it was the preparation, courage and willing hearts behind it.

As a church, we understand that our children need more than activities to keep them occupied. They need to be taught, discipled, encouraged and given opportunities to use the gifts God has placed within them. Sunday reminded us how important it is to make that investment.

We are incredibly proud of every young person who participated, and we are thankful for the parents, teachers and church family who continue to pray for them and help guide them. Enjoy a few highlights from a Youth Sunday we will not soon forget!

Outside of Youth Sunday…Outside of Membership Sunday… It was simply Sunday at West Berryton Faith Temple Holiness Church, and the power of God was real! The Holy Ghost spoke, the interpretation came forth, and as one person testified after service, it moved through the house “like a gust of wind” just as Acts Chapter 2 describes. This is more than a service to attend; God is meeting His people here, changing hearts, renewing strength, and reminding us that the fire still falls where hungry souls gather. If you have been watching from a distance, don’t keep hearing about what God is doing, come experience it for yourself. There is a mighty move of God taking place at West Berryton Faith Temple, and you do not want to miss what He does next! 🔥
