What does our Tea Room have to do with Ebola> --->
Every spring, the St. Paul’s Tea Room brings together friends, families, and visitors for delicious food, fellowship, and a cherished tradition. But beyond the soups, salads, and sweet treats, the Tea Room serves a greater purpose: supporting mission work that reaches our neighbors, our nation, and communities around the world.
Funds generated through the Tea Room help make possible the work of St. Paul’s Acts 1:8 Committee, which allocates funding from the Tea Room to efforts locally, nationally, and internationally. Most recently, the committee approved funding for the Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) to assist communities impacted by the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Working through local Anglican churches, ARDF is equipping and empowering believers on the ground to provide public health education, conduct awareness campaigns, and distribute essential hygiene supplies. These efforts help prevent the spread of disease while offering hope, compassion, and practical support to vulnerable communities.
