FAITH AND SALVATION
Ephesians 6:16–17a

“In addition to all, having taken up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, also receive the helmet of salvation,”
— Ephesians 6:16–17a LSB

The Christian life is a battle, and Satan wants us distracted, discouraged, doubtful, and defeated. But God has given us everything we need to stand firm.

So rest in this: You do not have to face the battle wondering whether Christ is enough. Our Savior has conquered sin and death. His promises have not changed. His Word remains true. And our salvation rests securely in Him.

Take up the shield. Put on the helmet. Stand firm in Christ.

🌿 Monday Encouragement

Not every week will bring something exciting or extraordinary—and that’s okay. Much of the Christian life is simply being faithful in the ordinary.

Faithful in our homes.
Faithful to our families.
Faithful in our work.
Faithful in prayer.
Faithful in God’s Word.
Faithful in loving and serving the people He has placed around us.

We may not always see what God is doing through the small acts of obedience, but nothing done faithfully for the Lord is wasted.

“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men.”
— Colossians 3:23 LSB

As you begin this week, don’t worry about doing something great. Seek to faithfully honor Christ right where He has placed you.

Have a blessed Monday!

Paul reminds us that standing firm in the spiritual battle requires putting on the armor God provides. Truth holds everything together, Christ’s righteousness guards our hearts, and the gospel of peace gives us firm footing and readiness to live for Christ.

The battle is real, but God has not left us defenseless. We stand firm by knowing His truth, resting in Christ’s righteousness, and walking each day grounded in the peace of the gospel.

We’d love for you to join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we gather to worship, study God’s Word, and fellowship together!

⚔️ **We Are in a Spiritual Battle**

The battle for hearts, minds, and souls is real. As believers, we are called to stand firm—not in our own strength, but in the strength of the Lord.

Our enemy is real, but **our God is greater.** We have been given the armor of God, His Word, and the power to stand firm in the truth of Christ.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the might of His strength.”
— Ephesians 6:10 LSB

As we begin a new week, remember: the Lord is already there.

Whatever this week holds—busy schedules, difficult decisions, unexpected challenges, or new opportunities—we can walk forward with confidence because our hope is not in our circumstances, but in our faithful God.

'The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.”
— Lamentations 3:22–23 LSB

Start this week looking to Christ, trusting His Word, and resting in His faithfulness. His mercies are new every day!

Have a blessed week 🌿

What an incredible truth: In Christ, our debt has been paid in full.

The sin we could never repay, Jesus took upon Himself at the cross. Through His death and resurrection, forgiveness is offered to all who repent and place their faith in Him.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our transgressions, according to the riches of His grace.” — Ephesians 1:7 (LSB)

We invite you to listen and be reminded of the amazing grace of God and the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM at Lowcountry Bible Church! Come worship with us as we gather around God’s Word and celebrate the hope we have in Christ. We would love to have you!

Prepare for Battle
Ephesians 6:10–13

The Christian life is a spiritual battle, but God has not left us to fight in our own strength. Paul reminds us to “be strong in the Lord and in the might of His strength” and to put on the full armor of God so that we may stand firm.

Grace Giving isn't measured by the size of the gift, but by the heart that gives it.

In Mark 12:41–44, Jesus watched people place their offerings into the treasury. While many gave out of their abundance, one poor widow gave two small coins—everything she had. Jesus declared that she had given more than all the others because her gift was marked by wholehearted trust in God.

Our giving reveals what we treasure and where our faith rests. God is not impressed by the amount we give, but by hearts that joyfully and sacrificially worship Him.

"Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on." — Mark 12:43–44 (LSB)

Christ-centered homes don't happen by accident—they are built on God's design.

In a culture that constantly redefines marriage and family, God's Word remains the unchanging foundation. When husbands love as Christ loved the church, wives joyfully follow God's design, and families are centered on the gospel, Christ is glorified and the home becomes a powerful testimony to the world.

"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." — Psalm 127:1

We'd love for you to worship with us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we continue our study God's word.
