Connect Church was represented today at the Memorial Day event in Spruce Creek. Ralph is the President and MC for the event, Beth Comer brought in the wreath, but failed to a good pic of her, and I got to do the opening and closing prayer. Thank you the several who have worked to clear out the thickets in our future “park” area. Marty and Tom worked daily outside of the crews to whack through the heavy area.

Because of their work the professionals coming in behind us to clean the grounds and cut low branches, will take out some TREES for us since they don’t have to do the thickets!
Reminds me of Romans 8 - “all things work together for good . . . “.

We did a Cinco de Mayo with Orange Blossom Hills. They did the 50/50 for their fundraiser, walking tacos and Piñata. We did chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and the dessert. Good food, good fellowship and fun together!

Third Anniversary today at Connect! Sunflowers is the third anniversary theme so we gave out Sunflower seeds you eat and that you plant. I’m looking forward to seeing sunflowers popping up all over our community! What a great group!
