You may not see the whole road ahead. You can still ask God for grace to take the next faithful step today.

Our hope rests in Jesus, who rose from the dead. Whatever this week holds, bring it to Him and keep following Him.

From Sunday’s message on 1 Peter 1:1–12.

09/30/2026

Life can be hard, and the things we face are real. But they do not get the final word.

Our hope is alive because Jesus is alive. Whatever you’re walking through today, your circumstances do not have the power to take that hope away.

“The diagnosis doesn’t get the final word… Even death doesn’t get the final word. Jesus does.”

The world shakes. The throne doesn’t.

Daniel saw kingdoms rise and fall, but he also saw that God was still reigning. When life feels uncertain, we can pray, stay engaged, and care for others without being controlled by fear. Our hope rests in Jesus Christ and His kingdom that will never end.

Read Daniel 7:9–14.

09/23/2026

There’s a difference between being concerned and being controlled by fear.

The things we see in the world should move us to pray, stay engaged, and show compassion. But our hope has never depended on people figuring everything out. Our hope rests in God.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…” — Romans 15:13

Daniel didn’t develop his faith inside the lions’ den. He carried into the den a faith that had been built through years of prayer and obedience.

The ordinary choices matter: opening God’s Word, spending time in prayer, obeying His direction, and trusting Him with what we cannot control.

Faithfulness today prepares us to stand firm tomorrow.

“He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done.” — Daniel 6:10

09/16/2026

Don’t wait until you’re facing the lions to learn how to pray.

Pray when life is good—when the kids are healthy, your marriage is strong, there’s money in the bank, and things are going well at work.

Every ordinary prayer lays another brick in the foundation you’ll stand on when the storm comes. Build your prayer life before you need the miracle.

Sometimes the turnaround begins when our focus changes.

Nebuchadnezzar said, “I looked up to heaven.” —Daniel 4:34

If you’ve been staring at the problem or trying to handle everything yourself, look up. God is still on the throne, and you can trust Him.
