THE AWAKENING
We come together to awaken the world understanding that has been put to sleep by
the teaching of the religion of the letter.
TWO POINTS TO CONSIDER
We will consider two education directives.
One for the mind and the other for the light within. What religion calls the soul.
LOST HOPE
There is a call from people here and around the world who have lost hope in life finding disappointment as their constant companion.
They have found modern religion to be an utter failure in improving the lives of them and their families.
Their hearts are stricken.
Their heads are humbled.
THEY HAVE TURNED TO A NEW WAY
So many of them have reached outside of the traditional teachings to a higher world for an experience of hope and peace.
Religion can only be accepted when it benefits humanity.
Where has that happened?
OUR SEARCH
We search for the inspiration of all love, all wisdom and all happiness and
our search leads us to the wonder of the light within ourselves.
THE WORD OF GOD?
We have been taught from the earliest times that the Bible is the true word of God.
That would mean snakes talk, donkeys talk, women at the age of 90 give birth,
people who sit in a furnace in a roaring fire will not be hurt, bones in the desert
jump up and dance around and on and on it goes.
AND THAT'S THE WORD
And that’s it. Eve and the snake had a conversation, and the Donkey
told Balaam to stop hitting him, and our lives are built around the stories in this book.
Nobody tries to explain the meanings behind these silly words. They are the
word of God and must not be tampered with.
THE HIDDEN THINGS
But some of us, for whatever reason, have been inspired to look behind
the words of those silly stories and what do you know.
We have found something that no one knew was there.
How could we know these things? We have no theological education and yet we know. Somehow, we know.
And though the pastors and teachers continue with the serpent and the
donkey and all the rest, we have found a whole new meaning to life.
JESUS EXPLAINS IT
And when the system questions us, we turn to Jesus Christ whose words
clearly explain what we have discovered.
In Matthew 11:25 Jesus said, “Thank you Father.
You have hidden these things from the wise and the prudent and
have revealed them to babes.”
WHY ARE YOU READING THIS?
You are reading this so you may rise to freedom of thought and
a glorious independence from a mad conventional world to
a nobler joy and perfect peace.
These things cannot be learned by the mind but must be evolved from
the higher senses. The light within the depths of our inner being.
TO MEDITATE AND WAIT
You may wait in meditation and become inpatient. Many people do. But you must give yourself the time for this inner search. In this age dawning on mankind
the voice of the light who dwells within all will soon become the voice of
all life and a new love will rise over every antagonism.
It is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that everything which moves, feels,
thinks is impregnated with the harmony of the inner light we call God.
MY HOPE FOR YOU
My hope is that your patience and your trust in the directions given by Jesus Christ concerning your inner being will lift you to an extended illumination
of thought to bring you a raising the light within you.
NOW IT IS TIME
Now awaken to the ageless harmonies of creation.
Love is the poem. Soul is the dream and your physical body is that by
which the light within (which we call God) is made known to the world.
EVERY DAY EVERY MINUTE
Life goes on as masquerades and huge jokes intermingled with suffering.
But why should it be that way when your body is the temple of the light,
we call God.
You being the church. The Temple
And the church not being the church. Not being the temple
You may find that difficult to believe or understand.
BREATHE THE BREEZE OF NATURE
Direct your attention to the silent ways of nature.
There we see a constant unfolding of a beautiful harmony between all things.
Everything before us as a beautiful painting that has come to life.
THE TREES, OCEANS, SKY, BUT WHAT ABOUT US?
As we see the wonders all around us, we realize that we cannot
consider human life as an accident.
THE EVIL ONE
We experience evil roaring in an out among us.
And as we observe that evil, we should consider that
it is a limitation of the light within.
It is the light within that dispels the evil without. For that light is God and God is good.
THE LOWER CARNAL WORLD
When we live for the present in the world of the lower or carnal mind, the light is overshadowed and then we are made unconscious.
In that state we are not even aware that the inner light exists.
Most of the people of the world are totally in the exterior lower world
and their lives are rounds of disappointment.
To them there is no hope, there is no truth.
There is no light and thus there is no God.
ARE WE THE RATIONALE ONES?
Together we consider ourselves very rational in seeking within for the light.
But we are irrational and insane to those who dwell in the mind and religion.
They cannot see but a time will come when the hour arrives,
the curtain is pulled aside, and they will behold and know.
BEYOND THE GRAVE
It seems as if people strive to retain the animal part in a life
beyond the grave not seeming to know that the body ends here.
But there is a union of the light (God) and our photon selves.
A higher life of harmony with all things, with God, with wisdom and with love,
which is immortal.
Remember that Jesus said:
Luke 17:21 The Kingdom of God is within you
