We are offering this class to anyone interested in learning about the US Constitution. Come and learn everything that you didn't know about the laws that govern our country. Classes begin on February 18th at 6:30 pm. The course is free, but space is limited and you need to register. Click the link below.

If you live in the community (Monroe - Index), you are invited to bring your tables, pop-up tents, blankets, chairs, etc., and anything you would like to sell, trade or give away to this 2nd Annual FREE one day event!

Each person or group is responsible to bring whatever is needed for your own sales area. We have lots of space in our huge field. Space registration is required in order to sell, trade or give away goods at this event.

All we ask that everyone takes anything that does not sell with them when they leave. Each space needs to be returned to the same “pristine” condition in which it was found when you first arrived.

Please share this invitation with your friends, family and all who live in the area. Let’s make this a fun event for everyone!

Free One Day Event on Saturday, August 31, 2024
Come to the field located behind First Baptist Church of Sultan from 10 AM - 5:30 PM for a Huge Community-Wide Yard Sale!
If you live in the community (Monroe -Index) and have "stuff" to sell, you are invited to bring your tables, pop-up tent, blankets, chairs, etc., or whatever to this first and possibly annual event!
Each merchant will need to be responsible to bring whatever is needed for your own sales area.
We have lots of space, and there is no charge to participate. You will be asked to register at the event. All we ask is that you take home everything, and I mean everything you bring, that does not sell. We don't want to have to deal with anyone's junk... We have enough of our own. When you leave, your space needs to be returned to the same condition it was in when you first arrived.
We are planning to have a music stage/ flatbed trailer for karaoke music. Please share this with your friends & family who in the area.
The weather forecast for Saturday is sunshine and low 80's. I believe this is going to be a lot of fun for everyone!

Sultan First Baptist aka The 8th Street Church will be hosting our annual 4th of July event. This year we are again inviting the community to bring lawn chairs, blankets (and your family) and join us for what we believe will be an impressive firework display. We are excited to host this event, but our aging congregation is feeling the need for a little help. We have over 15k in donated fireworks that will be launched electronically at our location on the 4th of July. We could use people on the 2nd, 3rd to wire electronic fuses, on 4th we could some help setting up the launch area, and on the 5th, we could use help with the take down and clean up.
