We have two Sunday services at 8:15 and 10:30 and Wednesday night activities at 6:30. Check out our church website for more details on our beliefs, events, and opportunities to serve!

Tomorrow night we get to celebrate Cory & Mika and their family.

For 13 years and 8 months, Cory has been a big part of the life and ministry of Crossway. Now we get the chance to thank him for those years, pray for what’s ahead, and celebrate his new role as Director of Missions for the Arbuckle Baptist Association.

Join us tomorrow at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Bring a card for Cory & Mika and your favorite finger food to share. Come ready to eat, visit, laugh, and let this family know how much they mean to Crossway. We hope you’ll be there.

Apparently, some of our mailed invitations decided to go on their own little adventure and didn’t make it to the right address. So, if you have a student in 9th–12th grade, consider this your official invitation!

Join us Sunday at noon in the Fellowship Hall at Crossway for lunch with representatives from Arlington Baptist University. Come eat, hear what ABU has to offer, and ask some questions.

Let us know by tomorrow if you’re coming so we have enough food! Scan the QR code or you can text or email Zac at [email protected].

We’d love to have you there!

GO BEFORE THEM | Day 4
The first day is behind us. Schedules are starting to make sense, teachers are learning names, and everyone is settling into a routine.

But not everything happening at school is easy to see.

There are students walking into class carrying things no one around them knows about. Trouble at home. Anxiety about fitting in. A friendship falling apart. Pressure to be someone they’re not. Some are surrounded by people and still feel completely alone.

So today, we’re praying for what we can’t see.

Pray for healthy friendships and good influences. Pray for students facing pressure, loneliness or bullying. Pray that teachers, coaches, counselors and friends will recognize when someone isn’t okay.

And pray that our students who follow Jesus will notice too. That they’ll have the courage to sit beside someone who’s alone, speak up when someone is being mistreated, listen when a friend needs to talk, and show the love of Jesus in ways that may seem small but matter more than they know.

Today, let’s pray one simple prayer:
God, help someone notice the student who feels invisible.
Go before them.

GO BEFORE THEM | Day 3
Today’s the day.

This morning, buses are running, classrooms are filling up, and a new school year is officially underway for most of our students and educators.

Before the day gets away from us, let’s pray.

Pray for safety as students travel to and from school. Pray for peace for the ones who walked in nervous this morning. Pray for teachers learning new names and new personalities. Pray for parents who had a hard time letting go at drop-off. Pray for administrators and staff handling all the things that come with the first day.

And somewhere today, there’s a student walking through a crowded hallway who still feels completely alone. Pray for them too.

Here’s a simple challenge for today: Every time you drive past a school, pray for the people inside it. It doesn’t have to be your school. Just take a moment and pray.

Lord, go before them today.

GO BEFORE THEM | Day 2
Tomorrow morning, backpacks will be loaded up, alarms will go off a little earlier, and our schools will start filling up again.

So today, we’re praying for the students who will walk through those doors. Some can’t wait. Some are nervous. Some are starting at a new school or trying to find their place. There are kindergartners doing this for the first time and seniors realizing they’re doing it for the last.

Pray for good friendships and wise choices. Pray for peace where there’s anxiety and courage when doing the right thing isn’t easy. Pray for the students who already feel like they don’t fit.

And pray for our students who know Jesus. Ask God to give them the courage to live their faith naturally and genuinely among their friends.

Tomorrow they walk in. Today, we pray for them.
God, go before them.

GO BEFORE THEM | Day 1
For years, our church has gathered before school starts to pray over our students and the people who serve them. This year looks a little different.

Instead of gathering for one night, we’re asking our church to pray together all week. Each day we’ll focus on a different part of the school year and the people who will walk into it.

Our prayer comes from Deuteronomy 31:8: “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you.”

Today, we begin with the people who lead.

Pray for teachers getting classrooms ready. Pray for administrators making decisions. Pray for coaches, counselors, aides, office staff, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians and all the people whose work will shape the days ahead.

Ask God to give them wisdom when decisions are hard, patience on the long days, strength when they’re tired, and a real love for the students in their care.

And for those who follow Jesus, pray that their faith shows up in the way they teach, lead, listen and serve.

God, go before them.
