What’s worship about???

A worship team isn’t here to perform—it’s here to lead. Our purpose is to help create an atmosphere where people can focus on God, engage in worship, and encounter His presence together as one church family. Worship is never about the stage; it’s about pointing hearts to Jesus.

How can you serve?

Well… we need volunteers for the tech team. That means running the slides for rehearsals and/or service. Also lights, the livestream, sound board, etc. We need musicians, especially a guitarist. We always have room for more vocalists.

The most important thing is to let Holy Spirit guide you where you need to serve! It’s not about a spotlight or performance. It’s about exaltation.

MORE THAN A SONG: worship isn’t the songs on Sunday morning. It’s a posture. It’s exaltation. You know the song “Who Else” by Gateway Worship? The first line of the song is “I am an instrument of exaltation.” 🤯 like what??? YES!!! We were literally born to worship God. Our human nature is worshipful. We all worship something. This falls in line with Pastor Cory’s MAMMON series. My worship stays pointed to the heavens. My Heavenly Father is the worthy of every bit of my worship and praise. Amen 🙏
