WOM meeting today, 7/21/2026!

Summer is in full swing, and we know y’all are busy. Come join us in the FLC at 10 AM for our monthly meeting & fellowship.
We will be planning the EK Key back to school breakfast; come with breakfast ideas.

HRBC Women on Mission hosted their 2nd Mother💕Daughter Tea Party on May 4, 2026. We were celebrating and honoring the 5th grade girls and their mothers or special person they invited. The lovely decorated tables held a large variety of savory sandwiches and oh my….so many choices of sweets! Raspberry tea complimented the delicious food.

The afternoon was filled with smiles as Mrs. Lorene Tanner gave a short presentation, followed by Tea Party BINGO and prizes given out. Pictures were encouraged with the beautiful hats and gloves given to our guests.

As always, this special group of ladies are appreciated for the enthusiasm and willingness to reach others in our community to make an activity like this so special.

Good luck to the young ladies at EK Key as they look forward to their next chapter of life!

BCM Lunch Served 4/20/26 by HRBC Women On Mission

Over a hundred students were served homemade pulled pork sandwiches, chips, brownies, oatmeal cookies & bananas.
For the past 15+ years the Women on Mission have been serving a free lunch to students twice a year(spring and fall semesters). We also leave snack bags for students to take for themselves and one for a friend which includes a witnessing tract.

We had lots of great help and the food was fantastic. Thanks to all those who helped in any way!

Women on Mission met January 20th and welcomed several guests. We were so glad to have you join us! Monica Broussard gave us a look into what her ministry, The Little Fish Food Pantry Ministry does for the homeless and low income families in our community. WOM are ready to serve others and we have a few dates lined up for several activities, so if you’re able to come and help with any of them, please feel free to participate.

2/28/26 - We will help pack brown bags for The Little Fish Food Pantry.

4/20/26 - We will be serving lunch to students at McNeese BCM.

5/4/26 - Mother-daughter tea party for 5th grade girls at E.K. Key Elementary School.

5/29/26 -Preparing chili for HRBC youth group to be served to students on Saturday, 5/31/26.

Other projects are in the works, so if you can’t make each of them, don’t fret! We would love to see you any time you can make it.
