A Huge Thank You from the Heart
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every member of our church and community who donated and supported our Senior Scholarship Cookout on Wednesday. We are truly blessed by the impact that happens when we come together in support of our youth. Your generosity and involvement mean more than words can express.
A special thank you to:
• Ryan McKenzie of Grocery Supply for donating the meat and chips.
• City National Bank, along with David Fenton, David's son, and Logan Vaughn for cooking in that heat and for providing the charcoal, lighter fluid, and handling the transportation of the grill.
• Kendra Daniel and Susan Toliver for working so hard to keep the table decorations in place despite the wind.
• Piper Lilly for creating the beautiful flyer — thank you, Piper!
• Brandon "The Weber Ninja" Williams for donating all the spices used. They tasted amazing!
• Judy Gilbreth, who kindly volunteered to cut the vegetables. Your willingness to help was deeply appreciated.
• Our wonderful ice cream makers: Maleta Reynolds, Amy Harden, Carrie Crowson, Susan Smith, Kathryn Jones and John Little.
• Kathryn Jones, who made both delicious cookies and ice cream.
• Rexanne McCauley and Markeda Fisher, who made the brownies — thank you both!
• BJ, for consistently putting together the youth announcements every Sunday and for crafting The Spire each month.
• Slade Daniel, for pouring into our youth and making an impact in their faith!
• The Youth Committee, for your steady guidance and commitment to these youth events.
• And of course, the youth themselves, who showed up and helped clean up afterward — what a blessing to see their love and support for their fellow graduates.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who attended. Your presence made the event truly special. We couldn’t have done it without you!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
