Lay Aside"
Hebrews 12:1

September 30th was the fifth Sunday, and Release through Jesus Ministries held Sunday services. (there are always two. One for East side, and one for Westside)
There were 40 to 50 women that came for each service.
When the message was delivered, the altar call was given, and a dozen women came forward to accept Christ as Savior.
The second part of the altar call was to "lay aside" the things that were keeping them bound to their past. All the other women came forward and we prayed for complete freedom in Jesus.

Now going forward to the following Tuesday's Bible study at the prison.

I was waiting for the Bible study room to be freed up from another class. An inmate that had been present Sunday morning sat down beside me. "Miss Finley, Sunday's message changed my life. I've had a lot of trouble getting beyond my past, but Sunday I laid it down, and I can't tell you how much it has changed me."

God is moving, His spirit is alive and well and making a difference. Praise God.
