What a blessed Sunday worship service today!

Brother Ben Roseberry wrapped up our study on Matthew 9, bringing our time in the book to a meaningful close and reminding us again of the compassion, authority, and power of Jesus.

Then Pastor Cecile DeLaGarza preached from 2 Kings 6 with the message, “Lord, Open My Eyes.” We were challenged not to judge our situation only by what we can see with our natural eyes. The servant saw the enemy surrounding them, but Elisha knew there was another army on the mountain.

Sometimes the problem is not that God is absent. Sometimes we simply need our eyes opened to see His presence, His protection, and His power already at work.

Our prayer today is simple: Lord, open our eyes.
When fear is louder than faith — open our eyes.
When we feel surrounded — open our eyes.
When we cannot see what You are doing — open our eyes.

And remind us that those who are with us are more than those who are with them.

We thank God for His Word, His presence, and another opportunity to worship together.

If you are looking for a church home, need encouragement, or simply want to worship with us, we would love to have you join us every Sunday at 11 am and every Wednesday at 7 pm at The Church of New Beginnings, Sullivan IN . Sunday Schools start at 10 am

JEHOVAH SABAOTH-The LORD of Host!

The mountain may be great—but it is not God!

Some of us are exhausted because we have been trying to carry the assignment and manufacture the strength to complete it.
But the lamp was never meant to be the source of its own oil.

You have a responsibility, but you are not the source.
You can plan. You can prepare.
You can work. You can organize.
You can use every gift God has placed in your hands.
But never confuse the tool with the Source.

Money is not God.Talent is not God.
Education is not God.Strategy is not God.

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of Hosts. — Zechariah 4:6

Maybe you are looking at something unfinished.

A dream that stalled.
A prayer that has not been answered yet.
A calling you almost walked away from.
A season that looks nothing like what you expected.

But unfinished does not automatically mean abandoned.
Delayed does not automatically mean denied.

Before you quit, ask God again:
“Lord, have You released me from this?”
If He says release it, release it.
But if God still says build—pick the tools back up.

And when the mountain stands in front of you, do not pretend it is small.Faith is not denial.

Look at the mountain and say:
You may be great, but you are not God.
You may be bigger than me, but you are not bigger than my God.

Jehovah Sabaoth—the LORD of Hosts—is still on the throne.

The assignment may be below, but the supply is above. So stop trying to become your own source.

Receive the oil. Trust His Spirit. Pick the tools back up. And keep building.

Not by might. Not by power. But by His Spirit.

If you need encouragement, if you need your faith strengthened, or if you simply need to be reminded that God is still in control—come join us in the house of the Lord at The Church of New Beginnings, Sullivan IN every Wednesday at 7 pm and every Sunday at 11 am.

ONE GOD • 66 BOOKS • BIBLE STUDY

Today we continued our journey through the Book of Exodus — Part 2, Chapters 21–40.

From God’s laws and covenant, to the Tabernacle, the golden calf, Moses’ intercession, God’s mercy, and finally the glory of the Lord filling the Tabernacle—there is so much to learn about God’s holiness, His presence, His mercy, and His desire to dwell among His people.

But one of the greatest blessings is simply looking around the room and seeing people with their Bibles OPEN!

There is something so special about spending hours together in the Word of God. Just opening our Bibles, reading, learning, highlighting, and studying together And somehow, time just flies when we’re gathered around His Word.

So far, Books of Genesis and Exodus COMPLETE!

And YOU are invited! You don’t need to know the Bible already. Just bring your Bible, bring your questions, and come with a heart ready to learn.

Come study God’s Word with us at The Church of New Beginnings, Sullivan IN every Thursday at 5 pm. Dinner is provided

“Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’” — Matthew 18:22 NKJV

Forgiveness is not about keeping count. Jesus calls us to live with a heart that is continually ready to forgive.

Forgiveness doesn’t erase what happened, but it releases us from carrying bitterness, resentment, and the desire to get even. The same grace we have received from God is the grace we are called to extend to others.

Our Wednesday service tonight was rich with the Word and encouragement!

Pastor Cecile DeLaGarza preached from Zechariah 4 on Jehovah Sabaoth — “The LORD of Hosts.”

The message reminded us that God is the One who commands every power and every resource, yet His word to Zerubbabel was:

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of hosts. — Zechariah 4:6

We were reminded not to measure God’s assignment by our own strength, resources, or limitations.

And when the mountain stands in front of us, we can declare with faith:

“Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!” — Zechariah 4:7

Who are you, fear?
Who are you, debt?
Who are you, sickness?
Who are you, discouragement?
Who are you, opposition?

You may be great—but you are not God.

The message challenged us to know our Source, trust the Spirit, pick the tools back up, and not despise small beginnings.

Not by might.
Not by power.
But by His Spirit.

We invite you to join us every Wednesday at 7 pm and every Sunday at 11 am and experience what God is doing in our church family. Come expecting worship, the Word, encouragement, and a fresh reminder that Jehovah Sabaoth—the LORD of Hosts—is still in control.

We were blessed with a beautiful Sunday service today!!

Brother Ben Roseberry continued his Sunday School teaching from Matthew 8 — “The I Will Chapter.” His lesson pointed us again to the willingness, compassion, and power of Jesus as He responds to those who come to Him in faith.

Sister Christina Killion brought the Word from Matthew 18, sharing a timely message on forgiveness and the importance of showing others the same mercy and grace that God has shown us.

After service, we gathered around the table for lunch and enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship with our church family.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’” — Matthew 18:22 NKJV

JEHOVAH SHAMMAH — THE LORD IS THERE.

The glory departed because of rebellion, but God’s final word over His people was not destruction — it was PRESENCE.

Ezekiel ends with this powerful declaration:
"The name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.” — Ezekiel 48:35

What made the city great was not its size, its walls, or its measurements.

It was Who was there.

And for us today, this truth comes even closer: The Lord is not only there. Through the Holy Spirit, He is in us.

May our lives, homes, worship, and church always testify:

JEHOVAH SHAMMAH — THE LORD IS THERE!!
