Pentecost: Then and Now 🔥

Back then, they gathered in an upper room carrying fear, uncertainty, grief, and questions in their hearts. They had seen Jesus ascend and didn’t fully know what was next. But while they waited together in prayer, heaven moved. Suddenly, the sound of a mighty rushing wind filled the room, tongues of fire rested upon them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Fear turned into boldness. Brokenness turned into purpose. Ordinary people were forever changed. (Acts 2)

And today… We still need that same fire.

Because life can leave us tired.
The world can leave us overwhelmed.
Pain can leave us empty.
And sometimes we smile on the outside while silently fighting battles within.

But the Holy Spirit still comforts, restores, strengthens, and fills hearts that are hungry for God.

Pentecost was never just a story from long ago. It is a reminder that God still meets people in their weakness. He still pours out His Spirit on people who feel lost, discouraged, weary, confused, or desperate for more of Him.

We don’t need more religion without power.
We need His presence.
We need His peace.
We need His fire burning in our hearts again.

Lord, awaken us again. 🔥
Heal what has grown cold.
Restore joy where life has brought heaviness.
Fill Your people with boldness, love, truth, and power.

The same Spirit that moved then is still moving now. ✨

One of the greatest spiritual battles today is the battle for your mind.

Because where your mind goes… your life follows. Castillo ministries

The enemy doesn’t just attack your circumstances he targets your thoughts.

Why?

Because if he can plant a lie and you believe it,
he gains access.

Access to your peace.
Access to your identity.
Access to your decisions.

This is why so many are battling:
• anxiety
• fear
• confusion
• insecurity
• unforgiveness

But here’s the truth most people don’t talk about:

Some struggles aren’t just emotional…
they are spiritual bo***ge.

And what is spiritual must be dealt with spiritually.

The Bible says:
“Take every thought captive to obey Christ.”
(2 Corinthians 10:5)

Deliverance isn’t just casting something out
it’s breaking agreement with the lies that let it stay.

You can’t hold onto the lie
and expect to walk in freedom.

There comes a moment where you say:
“I reject every thought that does not come from God.”

“I renounce fear.”
“I renounce confusion.”
“I renounce every lie about who I am.”

And you replace it with truth:
“I have the mind of Christ.”
“I walk in peace.”
“I am who God says I am.”

This is how you fight.
This is how you get free.

Not just by prayer…
but by renewing your mind and walking in authority.

Freedom is not just possible it’s your portion.

🙌Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus, and I thank You for the authority You have given me through Christ.

Right now, I surrender my mind to You my thoughts, my emotions, and every hidden place within me.

I repent for every lie I have believed, every negative thought I have entertained, and every agreement I have made with fear, anxiety, confusion, and insecurity.

In the name of Jesus, I break every agreement with the enemy.

I renounce:
• fear
• anxiety
• confusion
• insecurity
• unforgiveness
• every lie that is not from You

I declare they have no place in my mind any longer.

By the authority of Jesus Christ, I command every spirit influencing my thoughts that is not of God to leave now.

I take every thought captive and bring it under the obedience of Christ.

Holy Spirit, fill my mind with Your truth, Your peace, and Your presence.

Renew my mind daily.
Teach me to recognize Your voice above every other voice.

I declare:
I have the mind of Christ.
I walk in peace.
I walk in clarity.
I walk in freedom.

God will get glory out of your story so choose to live in a way that honors Him. 🙌🏽

You are not without responsibility. Every decision matters. Choose righteousness. Choose obedience. Choose surrender.

From the beginning, God established rest on the seventh day intentional, set apart, holy. Even in the silence of that Saturday before the resurrection, He was not absent. He was working with purpose.

So be intentional in every season:
In your choices.
In your thoughts.
In your obedience.
In your rest.

Don’t confuse stillness with inactivity—God is always moving with divine purpose.

And in the end, this truth remains:
Every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess.
Jesus Christ is Lord. ✝️🔥
