The Valley Interfaith Council is an ecumenical organization representing nine churches —Catholic, Lutheran, United Church of Christ, and United Methodist — in Conyngham, Butler Township, and Sugarloaf Township. Established in 1987, the group continues to support a variety of community ministry projects including the Valley Food Pantry, Church Women United, Red Cross blood drives, Meals on Wheels,

Penn State Hazleton Campus Ministry, and the Emmaus Road Transportation ministry. The Council members also pray for individuals and families with ties to our local community with a combined and updated prayer list.

Do you have old eyeglasses, sunglasses or readers? Don't throw them out. We have collection boxes throughout the area. Even broken glasses can be used for repairs. Look for our collection boxes at the following places: Vesuvio's, Drums, Butler Twp Community Center, Providence Place, Conygham Post Office, and Eye Care Associates. The glasses are processed at a center in NJ and distributed world wide . Give someone the gift of sight 🤓 🦁
