Merry Ministries Merry Ministries is a women's interdenominational Bible study group in Sugar Land, TX The class is led and taught by Mary Willis.

Merry Ministries is dedicated to teaching the Bible in a clear, accurate and practical manner. Our desire is for people to know God and grow in their understanding of His plan for their lives. "So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God," Colossians 1:10 (ESV). We are a women's interdenominational gro

up that meets weekly to worship God, study the Bible, pray and fellowship with each other. Our goal is to provide an environment for women to grow in biblical knowledge, learn how the Bible applies to us today, and start or strengthen a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Members have the option of attending on Tuesday evenings or Wednesday mornings. Our time together begins with praise and worship led by Vanessa Larson on Tuesdays and Tricia Zody on Wednesday. There is no written homework, but members are encouraged to spend time reviewing the lesson in God's Word. You also have the option of signing up for a small group that meets for prayer and discussion of the lesson. There is no charge for the class. We have childcare provided for those who register. In JUST A WEEK, we begin our Merry Ministries Super Summer Series! This summer's study is called:
"Keeping Your Feet on the Ground – When Everything is Up in the Air."

Instability and anxiety are everywhere in the world today... Our lives can be shaken in a moment's time by a world event, a natural disaster - or on a personal level, a phone call, an accident, a diagnosis, or a job loss. How can we build a strong and steady life that will make it through the hard times?

For 6 weeks this summer, we will look at insights from the Bible about how to avoid being destroyed by the storms and uncertainties of life – finding God's strength, direction, hope, and peace; coming through strong and sure - and even better in the end!

Taught by Marlene Kelly, Lauran Helms, Abbey Land, and Joan Spitz. Begins June 16/17 meeting in the Venue at Sugar Land Methodist Church.
Tuesdays at 7pm and Wednesdays at 10am.
